“ Hey Sai.” Tess says coming out the doors of her highschool.

“ Hey Tess.” I say from my motorcycle. When I turned 16 Tess and her boyfriend Mike got me my dream motorcycle, a LED LPG motorcycle. I started picking Tess up after school after her car broke down and since Mike stays for football practice he can’t take her home so he asked me to do it for him.

“ Thanks for doing this. You know picking me up after school.” She says as I hand her my extra helmet as she gets on the back of the motorcycle.

“ No problem but can we please get out of before that girl gets over here because she does not look happy.” I say tilting me head in the direction at the brown haired girl stomping over here.

“ Yes please.” She says quickly putting on her helmet. I started the engine to the motorcycle and take off. I look behind us to see the girl get in a car and drive off after us. 

“ Did you do something to make her mad.” I joke yelling over the engine.

“ All I did was stand up for a kid she was bullying.” Tess yells back.

“ Am I taking you home or are you coming to my house.” I ask yelling at her.

“ Your place. I still can’t believe you stay there.” She yells backs. I tried to get the girl to stop following us but she was just relentless. And of course the red light had to go red at that moment. Really you just had to go red right now. Now that we’ve stopped the girl goes around us to our right side and rolls down her window.

“ Oh this is juicy. I didn’t take you as a cheating type Tess.” The girl says pushing her sunglasses to her forehead.

“She not cheating.” I say taking of my helmet careful not to take my sunglasses off. “ Last I checked Tess was straight.”

“ Wait aren’t you the DJ at Death City?” She asks in a fangirling voice ignoring what I just said. 

“ Yes I am. I’m also Tess’s and Mike’s friend so if you pick on them you better expect to never come back to Death City.” I say putting my helmet back on because the light turned green and took off to Death City. Leaving the girl in a shocked state.

“ Thanks for standing up for me.” She says smiling as she got off the back of the motorcycle as I pull into the parking lot.

“ It was no problem.” I reply back. I took my helmet off and put a tire lock on my motorcycle, so it wouldn’t be stolen. While putting the lock on my bike I see that one of my shoes were untied and went to retie it.

“ Hey are you expecting someone?” She asks pointing to the entrance to Death City where someone was there. When I finished tying my shoes I look up to see what she was pointing. There at the door was a whole bunch of men. I get up from tying my shoe and walked over there. When I got closer I could see that all the people had guns in their hands which stopped me in my tracks.

“ Um Tess we need to get out of here.” I says as she comes up from behind me. When she saw what was freaking me out she let out a loud gasp that caught the attention of the group of men. I take Tess by the hand and pulled her to the back alley door to get in.

“ Do you know what they want.” She asks while I struggle to get the key to the back door.

“ If I knew that I wouldn’t be freaking out right now.” I tell her finding the key I was looking for. Opening the door I quickly ran inside with Tess right behind me. Closing the door right on time to see the men running into the alley way.

“ Where are we going to hide?” She asks me. I keep running not listening to one word she is saying. Before I even realize it I’m at the lounge. I run inside waiting for Tess to come in and close the door locking it tight. I started pulling tables and cabinets in front of it making it difficult to get in. I run over my closet and grabbed my traveling backpack, putting extra launch pads, Amazon speakers, my computer, my phone, extra clothes, food, water, my favorite CDs, headphones, my money, and clothes. I grab Hellreaver, my sword throwing it into the backpack without Tess realizing. Hellreaver is a sword I found that can retract into a small pocket knife. It’s kinda like Percy Jackson’s from the movie.

“ Sai what are you doing?” She asks me turning to look at me while I rummage through my stuff and stuffing it into my bag.

“ What does it look like I’m doing. I’m leaving.” I says zipping up the backpack.

“ Where are you going to go?” She asks me while I’m putting the backup on my back.

“ I don’t know, I’ll live on the streets I guess.” I say opening the Exit door out of the lounge which leads to my motorcycle.

“ The hell you are. Nope not letting that happen. Your going to come live with me.” Tess says while I hook up a guess cart to the side of the bike so I can put the backpack in it so Tess can sit somewhere.

“ Are you sure they might come there and judging by their guns, I think they’re meaning to kill me.” I say handing her a helmet. I quickly put my helmet on and unlock the lock on the bike. Waiting for Tess to put her helmet on and get on I start the engine. I drive out of there to see the men coming out of the building not noticing us as we go past the red light.

“ I’m sure I want my best friend safe.” She says hugging me as I take a left at the next red light.

“ Alright your house it is.” I say making a U turn to go to her house.

When we make it to her house Tess opens the garage for me to park my bike inside and grab my backpack. We head to the door as Tess closes the garage behind us. The first thing you can hear when you walk through that door is Tess’s parents arguing.

“ Oh before we go to my room I need to go check up on Jane in the guest house.” She say pulling me in the door. Once Tess parents noticed me they stopped arguing and came over to say hi. After talking with them and them thanking me for picking Tess up after school, Tess pulled me away from them. Tess pulled me through the house to the opposite side of it and we exit out the back door. The minute we walk out the door Tess’s doberman Jessie tackles me down to the ground with a whole bunch of kisses.

“ All right...alright…Jessie calm down.” I say trying not to let the dog kiss me in the mouth. I push her away only to earn a small whine from the dog while I get up off the ground.

“ If you behave I’ll bake you some treats.” I tell Jessie as I reach down to scratch behind her ear causing her to wag her little nub so hard I was scared it might fall off. “ Alright well I gotta go.” 

Tess pulled me to the guest house and knocked on the door only to be opened by a girl. She was the same height as Tess. She had black hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a black t-shirt with black skirt.

“ Yes!! Just the person who I was looking . Where have you been Tess I was looking everywhere and who is this cute girl?” She says to fast for me to understand.

“ Sorry Jane. Sai needed to pick up something at her place.” Tess replied, not mentioning the break in.

“ Oh so your the Bi friend that Tess is always talking about. And to think your super cute.” She says walking up to me.

“ I...um...I.” I started stuttering and if I was a fruit right now I would probably be a tomato.

“ Aww do get to flushered I was just kidding around. But you are super cute.” She says laughing booping me on the nose. I just stood there not able to talk.

“ Hey Sai…..Sai” Tess says needing to repeat it about five times to get my attention.

“ Huh what is it Tess?” I ask her snapping out of my daze.

“ Jane and I were talking while you were in a daze and wanted to do some karaoke. Do you wanna come.” She asks me in a happy tone.

“ Sure why not. When get back is it ok for me to make a call.” I ask while playing with the piece of paper Slender gave me before he left in my pocket.

“ Sure but you might wanna change.” Tess says pointing to my white t shirt which had a lot of dirt on it.

“ All right but where’s your bathroom.” I ask.

“ Hey since your here why don’t you use the one here.” Jane insisted dragging me inside the house with Tess following us. When we get to the second door on the left Jane stops pulling me and opens the door to push me in. What was all that about? Well might as well change I say thinking. I opened my backpack to grave an outfit out to put on. It was a black shirt with my favorite band on it called The Cranberries. I grab some black jeans and put them on and put my black boots on. When I finish I grab Hellreaver and retract it into a small pocket knife and put it in the back pocket of my pants just in case the men are there and also the phone number just so I don’t lose it. When I finish getting ready I pick my backpack up and open the door. Turning the light off I walk outside into the living area.

“ There she is. Are you ready to go.” Jane asks as see me coming up.

“ Yes ma’am I am.” I say joking. We walk out of the guest house and head for Tess’s parents car.

“ Wait your parents are letting us use their car!” I practically squeal.

“ Yea just as long as Jane is the one driving.” Tess says as I put my backpack in the sidecar of my motorcycle and hop in the back of the car.
