I stood and obeyed the voice, Maradith was not one that you wanted angry at you. Standing back, I sheathed my sword and stood staring in the direction of the fallen man. As I stood my head swam and I felt so weary I stumbled.
Catching me Maradith set me gently down on the ground and after checking that I was ok, she moved me into a laying position. Then she moved to the unconscious soldier. Through the corner of my eye, I saw her bandage his wound and drag him into the hut.
A minute later she returned with the other man and they both helped me to my bed, I was surprised at the ease of which they were helping me, and I realized that Maradith had basically carried me a minute ago.
Later, after I had rested I learned that I had been unconscious for weeks and the men were wounded trying to find my people. The ropes that were binding me were because I had constantly trashed. To make matters worse the head injury that Maradith had received had been my fault.
