Poems for Poetic People

The Seas

The Seas

Feb 14, 2020

The man who was once shallow,

decided to roar over waves,

the several seas call out to his shadow,

the might of the people is raised.

Surfing through the massive tsunami,

a dream is left to be chased,

for the man is still in the perilous seas,

another wave to be faced.

We don't chase dreams to reach them, we follow dreams to reach a temporary destination. Then, we move forward facing further obstacles. Only through such persistence can we truly fulfil our dreams.
