In the palace garden
"BOB!" stomping down the cobblestone path Ash was trying to find Bob before the sun went down "BOB!" the palace guards chased after her.
"Your majesty please return to your room imminently the quee..."
"oh shut the hell up would you, I need to find my friend first" and almost on cue Bob shot down from the tree landing clumsily beside her "see I told you he was real" grabbing Bob Ash swang around to show him to the pestering guards.
"Hello" Bob called out giving a small wave. as the slackjawed guards stared.
"look" holding him out she gave him a small shake to prove he was real. "hmf" she pushed past them and ran to her room to serve what she was sure would be an eternal grounding.
"where are we going?" bob was met with no answer but his question was soon forgotten as they entered the building.
Bob's eyes bulged as he took in his surroundings. Marble walls decorated with extravagant paintings and fine cloth elves carried baskets as the disappeared into walls. up and up the stairs, they went until they finally arrived at a large oak door inside was a room that compared to the grandeur of the halls was rather dull. "what this" Flew about the room released from Ash's arms
"This is my bedroom" crawling on to her bed she laid down on her side and shut her eyes "I'm going to take a nap your free to look around."
"Okay," Bob was more than happy to explore he decided that since the window looked the most interesting he would to it last. turning back towards the door he saw a large fireplace with a mantle had small fingers carved into it and directly above it a large portrait sat of a woman who looks almost exactly like Ash but with a darker complexion and lacked the pink markings but instead she wore the fanciest clothing he had ever seen. Turning to the wall across from the bed was a large desk surrounded by books and covered in ink and paper. as he drew closer he could see a sketch of Ash standing next to what he believed was a goblin on the desk was a half-written letter that was more scribble than words. Turning his attention back to the bed it was messy the covers were all bundled in the center reaching out he could feel cool silk sheets not wanting to wake his new best friend up bob moved back to the window, for the most part, it was dark but the sight of dragons flying to there stable memorized him "wow" slapping a hand over his mouth Bob looked back at ash but she was still fast asleep.
About an hour later Ash woke up stretching out she went and sat beside Bob who was still looking out the window "hey Bob"
"oh, best friend Ash your awake!" Smiling up at her he finally left the window leaving small handprints on the glass.
"Bob do you like living here, Bob nodded furiously well then you'll have to earn your keep with a job."
