What do people find when looking for a romantic relationship?

The best way to describe Aspel and Lucine relationship was like day and night, the two were very different from eachother and some would even question how and why they were even together.

Lucine was outgoing and free spirited, she went with the flow and was never seen without her gentle loving smile, her black eyes would have a playful glint in them like she was just waiting for something amusing to happen, her voice was cheerful yet soft like a lullaby, even the way she acted made her stand out she loved to play with others and would use her powers to vanish and appear unexpectedly and would giggle if she managed to scare you, her clothing showed that she didn't care what others thought, her short off sleeved sweater would show off her hourglass figure and long legs, she didn't like to wear tight clothes that covered her entire body because it felt "restricting" and she prefered the simple things in life she would even refuse to tie her long raven hair because she loved the feeling of the wind flowing through it.

Apsel was cold and serious even to the people he called friends, he was known for his cold icy glare and his smooth harsh voice that meant business, when tasked with a job he'd get it done with no questions asked and would be very harsh to those who made his job harder to finish and would gladly use his hidden blades to get his point across, his clothing made him look professional black dress pants a white elegant dress shirt and a dark gray corset that hugged his waist accentuating his slim firm figure and short black globes he always looked sharp, the only thing that slightly stood out was his short white hair that sometimes looked messy.

Sometimes when looking for a relationship you in a way find a piece of yourself and in a way they did, when they were together it was clear they brought out the best in eachother, lucine became calmer and would be more honest about her identity crisis and her desire to find out who she really was and Apsel would be more affectionate and would open up about his feelings of neglect and abandonment, they were inseparable and enjoyed eachothers company, they loved eachother deeply they would later go on to have a child, but sadly they both died while they're daughter was too young to remember them yet the people who knew them could see she was a combination of them both and was a symbol of their love.
