He is my best friend after all...
"Is it over yet?" Luke attempts to say, but he was muffled.
"What was that?" I reply back.
He looks up at me.
"You heard me, you cutie."
"W-W-WHAT did you say?" I turn away immediately.
I turn my head towards him again; His eyes look so beautiful as he stares at me. Then, I give him a kiss on the forehead. Now, it's his turn to go red (which he did); Luke is so cute when he blushes because he looks like an adorable puppy or even a kitty.
All he could really do was just put his head back on my chest where I could feel his smile widening. Luke then lifts his head up from my chest. Crap, it feels different than the last time he put his head there... Last time, Luke was really, really sleepy and used me as his bed... but I
didn't care about that.
At least I got to play with his soft, curly blonde hair. When I start to play with his hair, he looks
up to me and says, "Tobias what the hay." Luke tries to look angry and serious but ends up smiling.
"Well, it was your turn to feel embarrassed." I turn my head on the side a bit and then smile,
which is something I only do around him and my sister, Elora.
I mean, I could add my collection of stuffed bears, but, nope, I really don't care for them anymore because I'm a big boy now… Nah, I just rarely talk or think about them. Or if I do, you'll never know.
Crap, Elora is home alone. What do I do? I think to myself. Should I bring him with me or ask her to go to one of her friends’ house tonight?
"Can I borrow your phone? Gotta call my sis," I say while he still stares at me.
"Umm, yeah, here you go." He hands it to me, and the first thing I see is a picture of him and me together at a party as the background on his phone. Crap, that's great, but I need to call my
sister quickly.
********************
"Yeah, Luke, what do you want? If it's my brother, he is not home right now," Elora said.
"Nope, it's your favourite and most fabulous brother,” I reply. “I was wondering if could you see if you could stay at one of your friends’ house for the night, and I'll pick you both up in the morning. Thanks, if yes," I say pretty quickly.
"Sure, sure. What are you doing tonight then, brooooo?" she questions me, the older brother.
She loves saying “bro;” it's practically a normal word for her, but if Elora likes saying it, then I guess she can say it. At least she is not swearing constantly like the other kids around her age.
"Spending the night with Luke. What else would you expect?" I say without sighing. It's pretty
hard for me not to sigh at how stupid my sister is sometimes.
"Ohhhhhhhh, you’re gonna get it, my man. I believe in you. You’ve been working on what you’re gonna say, right? Well, I think you should tell him tonight while you’re there. Otherwise, there's
always next time, right?"
"Nope, and, bye, have fun." Then I hang up on her. That's what she gets for being a little pest by asking what I'm gonna do with Luke.
Luke walks in after I just finished talking to Elora.
I'm in the kitchen where there's barely any room for two people, but I guess we can try to fit. He
hugs me from behind.
"W-w-what? Luke, why?"
"So you want to stay? Aye, alright, on one condition: you tell me how you feel about me," Luke whispers into my ear from behind... he sounds so sexy. Gosh, don't you love being the same height is one of the many things I'm thinking about right now? I guess I should do it now because he practically asked me to be honest about how I feel about him.
"Ummm... I really, really, really like you... umm... more than a friend, I guess..." I turn to hug him.
When I do, he looks at me with that smile again. That stupid, cute, and sexy smile Luke always does. Damn, one day I want to kiss him while he is smiling to see what happens. I bet it would be funny. Only if he likes me back, though, because I do not want to force him to do anything he doesn't want to do.
"Well, I guess I should tell you how I feel then... How do I explain how I feel? It's pretty hard because I'm really not the best at this type of stuff... I'll write it down," Luke said reasonably quickly.
