Soon my stop finally came, as I was walking toward the exit I saw Andy waiting for me. We got off together walking side by side. Every now and then he would bump into me.

“How was school?” His soft lips spoke with his brown eyes shining into mine.

“It was good, weirdo!” I teased brushing his brown hair in return he shot a glare at me. I laughed starting to run home with him chasing me very close to my heels making me feel like he was about to trip me. As we hit the entrance of our house we noticed something a bit odd and had just an odd feeling. We gave each other looks and went inside. It was normal, just something wasn’t right. We went further into our house to see Sai growling at a wall? Koko was nowhere to be seen.

“Mom? Dad?” We called as we got up. Sai stopped growling and hopped on us licking us to death. His mouth had foam… I looked at Andy with a worried gaze. Sai ran back towards the window and laid down. We went to our parents room, They both looked worried and looked up at us with a smile hiding their fear.

“Welcome home babies. Daddy and I are gonna go out for a bit. I need you two to stay home and don’t open the door for anyone. We’re taking Sai to the vet, because he got into stuff he wasn’t supposed to” Mom said getting up to touch our faces and walking with dad to get Sai. Andy and I exchanged worried looks and washed our arms and face.

“Do you think we need to be worried” Andy’s worried tone sounded as an echo in the bathroom.

“No of course not. They just have things on their mind. Wanna play a game” I smiled hiding my true thoughts. He smiled and nodded hinting I removed his fear.

“Well come on slowpoke! I’m gonna beat you!” I yelled running down the stairs to turn on our console.

“Can we watch a show actually?” He asked nervously sitting right next to me. I nodded and started to play an anime we both never watched. My mind couldn’t stop going to my parents looks and the action of Sai.

*Meow. *Meow. *Meow.

I looked over at Koko who was next to her food bowl that was empty.

“Crap I forgot to feed Koko” I yelped pouring two handfuls of food and petting her crusty fur. What? Did Sai get to you? What happened? I started brushing with a comb I use on her fur. It was thick and gooey from something. I comb everything out of her fur. She had no injuries nor was she producing foam like Sai, so I think she is fine. I sat by Andy enjoying the anime, but I kept thinking of what was happening.
