After the crazy events that occured with Kacchan in the train, Deku had run directly to the school as fast as she could. She was completely out of breath when she reach class A-1. She went directly to her desk, sitting on her chair sloppily; slumping on the table and placing her head on her forearms as she tried to hide her flushed face.

“Deku?” she heard behind her. “Are you okay?”

She jumped a little, but recognized the voice of Uraraka-san. Deku raised her torso back up, trying to smile as naturally as she could.

“Y-yes! I just ran to come here, so I’m bea...”

As she was finishing her sentence, she heard and saw the door of the class open wide in her peripheral. Her eyes darted in the direction of the movement, only to find Kacchan standing on the threshold, seemingly out of breath as well; and in a bad mood, judging from his brooding expression. He swapped the room with his eyes, and locked his gaze on Deku. The girl blushed heavily, averting her eyes, she straightened herself on her chair, looking awkwardly at the blackboard.

Bakugou grinned a little, stepping inside the classroom in the direction of his own desk, in front of Deku. He dropped his bag loudly on the table, making Deku jump. Her eyes looked up at Kacchan by reflex, and seemed to focus on his mouth. Remembering their kiss, the young girl blushed even more, squealing as she turned her head quickly to the side.

Kacchan’s grin widened. “Cute…” he whispered as he sat down on his chair, just in time before Aizawa-sensei entered the room, as unmotivated as always.

“Okay kids, today we’re going to practice your fighting skills…” he said with a flat voice. “So get changed and meet me at the sports field outside.”

Without more words, he exited the classroom.

The students hurriedly changed into their gym uniform and met Aizawa outside as ordered.

“Okay, so today the goal will be to force you to fight without your quirks, to develop your defensive and offensive skills in all situations, where the use of abilities might be compromised.” Aizawa-sensei explained.

“Oh that’s kinda neat!” exclaimed some of his pupils.

“Please pair up with your immediate class neighbour, and spread yourselves to avoid interference from the other groups.”

This method for creating the duos meant that Deku was going to get paired with Bakugou… She reluctantly stepped towards him.

“So it’s you and me huh?” Kacchan said, no emotion in his voice.

He got a little closer, enough for a body to body fight to happen. He warmed himself up a little. “Yosh!”

After doing the same, Deku readied herself:

“Yoroshiku K-Kacchan!”

Seeing that she was serious made Kacchan smile a little, he liked that earnestness in her.

“There are no real rules! Just don’t go overboard with the fight!” Aizawa announced. He blowed in a whistle to start the combats.

As soon as he heard the whistle, Kacchan launched himself forwards, fists at the ready.

“Ah!” he yelled as he attempted a heavy punch at Deku’s stomach.

The girl, expecting such a movement, agilely deflected the blow and, with a swift swirl, kicked him back.

“Ugh!” Kacchan blurted, steadying himself on his feet, frowning at his classmate.

“Not bad, little nerd!” he smirked, getting strangely motivated by Deku’s skills.

This time, Deku was the one to initiate the attack, making little jumps to try to get Bakugou sideways. She attempted several kicks and punches, but was stopped every time. and when she thought she had an opening, it happened to only be a feint from Kacchan; he suddenly caught her wrist and pulled her closer. The girl tried to get away with a twirl, but Kacchan stopped her mid-way, immobilizing her by the shoulders, his arm firmly preventing any escape.

Deku could feel Kacchan against her back, his quick breath tickling her neck.

“Gotcha!” he said proudly.

He could see her ears getting red, which made him want to touch them. He raised his free hand and lightly pinched the lobe of Deku’s ear.

“Why are you blushing like this, little nerd?” he teased.

Deku gasped at the touch. She tightly shut her eyes and reflectively hit Kacchan with her elbow. The blow made Kacchan release her. The girl turned around and glared at him, her cheeks still flushed.

“S-stop it!”

She launched herself forwards and jumped high enough to give the boy a high kick. But Kacchan, anticipating it, was able to replicate mid-air; he punched her in the stomach and sent her flying a few meters, not holding back.

Practicing next to them, Todoroki and his partner just had time to notice what was happening, but not quick enough, as Deku was coming at the genius boy at high speed.

“T-todoroki-kun, watch out!” she could scream out just before impact.

Shouto’s eyes widened. “Midori-”

The other pupils stopped their practice, just to see Deku striking down Todoroki. The two teenagers fell hard on the ground and tumbled away together; their momentum was abruptly halted by a wall.

The rest of the students ran to them with worry.

“Midoriya! Todoroki! Are you o-” Kirishima yelled, before pausing.

The noise of the class stopped short when they saw how Shouto and Deku had landed:

The girl was stuck against the wall with the boy on top of her. He apparently hadn’t been able to catch himself in time and had finished his route with his mouth on Deku’s. The two friends were frozen in place, eyes wide open, not daring to move.

Bakugou, fighting his way through the crowd, finally arrived at the scene. When he saw the position of the 2 youngsters, he felt his blood boil. He gritted his teeth.

“Oi! What the fuck are you doing, two face?!” he scowls.

Unconsciously, he stepped forward and grabbed Todoroki by the collar. He yanked him off Deku, making him stand up. Uraraka and Tsuyu ran to Deku to make sure she was okay; they helped her getting up as well.

“I- I’m fine! Don’t worry!” she assured, smiling shyly. “I’ll just have a bump tomorrow, haha!”

She looked up a Todoroki, who looked worried, and seeing his face, Deku blushed and lowered her head back down.

Kacchan frowned at that reaction, he didn’t like the girl being troubled over someone else’s kiss.

“Didn’t take you for such a pervert, double face!” he provoked.

“N-no, it wasn’t on purpose!” Todoroki retorted.

“Yeah right! What an amazing coincidence to fall right on her lips!” Kacchan mused, still clutching Shouto’s collar.

Redness creeped up Todoroki’s face, “I…”

“K-Kacchan, stop!”

Deku stepped between them, putting her hands on the boys’ chests to seperate them. She glared at Kacchan.

“Don’t be like that! You know it wasn’t on purpose!”

Irritated by the fact that Deku defended his rival, Kacchan snapped:

“Too bad I was the one who stole your first kiss, huh?”

A murmur went through the students. “Wait, is that true…?”

SLAP!

Deku’s hand hit Bakugou’s face across with a loud noise, taking the boy by surprise. He didn’t know what to say and just stared at Deku, dumbfounded. The girl was shaking with embarrassment and fury.

“Why do you always have to say such mean things?!” she yelled.

Deku started walking away from the boys with big steps. She stopped suddenly, turning around with a fierce look on her face.

“And you know what?” she exclaimed. “Yes, I regret that my first kiss wasn’t with Todoroki-kun! Baka Kacchan!!”

She exchanged a look with Shouto. She blushed when she saw that the redness on the boy’s face increased. She ran away quickly, even though Aizawa tried to stop her.

“You little…” Bakugou said under his breath. Deku’s words made him angrier than they should have. “It’s the 2nd time you’re calling me that today…”

He looked sideways at Todoroki, who was evidently troubled by the girl’s words.

“Don’t you dare think of unnecessary stuff, two face…” Bakugou warned. “I’m the one who will get her!”

Regaining his thoughts, Shouto looked back at Kacchan.

“You can’t decide for her, Kakugou…” he said, a very solemn expression on his face.

Todoroki stepped away, going by himself on the side of the crowd.

“Tsk!” Bakugou stomped at the ground. The thought of Deku ending up with Todoroki unnerved him. “She is mine…!” he muttered.

Deku spent the rest of the hour hidden in a corner of the courtyard, curled up in a shaded stairway. She couldn’t believe what had just happened! She pinched her cheek, hoping that will wake her from this bad dream. But it just hurt…

“Argh! Really?! Why…?!” she exclaimed, hiding her face in her lap. She could feel the heat creeping up her face.

The day had only just started and she had been kissed twice already… And the two first kisses of her life at that! How could that even happen in real life?

Reminiscing the two scenes, she could still feel the soft lips of the boys on hers. She caught herself brushing her fingers on her lips, her eyes got wide.

“No, stop it brain!” she cried. “It can’t be happening!”

She still had a few hours to spend at school, she couldn’t just skip her classes…

Trying to motivate herself, she slapped her own face.

“Come on, it’s going to be fine! I just have to do as if nothing happened, and everything will be fine!” she reassured herself, springing up to her feet.

Filled with renewed motivation, she walked to her classroom.

Will the rest of the day pass as usual, with no other incident? Or will destiny play her another trick? Who knows...
