DESTINY BECKONS

THIRTY FOUR

THIRTY FOUR

Dec 27, 2019

“Oooohhhh!” Iola stared up at the thatched ceiling of their little room. “Was... was that a dream?”

The pre-pubescent light of a new dawn filtered though the lone window to the room and in the dimness Iola realised she wasn’t the only one on the small bed.

A muscular arm was draped around her middle, her bare middle.

She felt a chill go through her at the comprehension that she wasn’t wearing a stitch of clothing on.

And neither was her sleeping companion.

Dacia snored softly, lying face down beside her.

She watched the breathing movement of the strongly built mercenary’s muscular back and broad shoulders as the woman blissfully slept in all of her naked glory.

Iola’s ears went hot and her face flushed red at the memory of what they had done to each other long into the wee hours of the night.

Never in her strangest dreams, and she did have a great many strange dreams, did Iola ever think she would experience something like this.

“No, it wasn’t a dream.” She shook her head and gently caressed the length of Dacia’s arm as it lay over her bare belly and breast. “All of this is real...”

The mercenary stirred and looked up at her, a sleepy smile on her rugged features.

Another wave of exhilaration rippled through Iola’s form, and despite her disquiet of what she experienced, she couldn’t deny that she rather unabashedly wanted more.

“Iola, my sweet, sweet Iola.” Dacia whispered as she turned over. “What a lovely sight to wake up to.”
