Third Person
"Marinette!" Adrien yelled once again, but he was too late. She had already turned away from him and ran out of the locker room towards the school doors, ignoring any calls of her name. "Marinette!" he pled once more. He started to chase after her, but a pair of arms dragged him back. He tried to escape, but he was thrown onto the bench with a strong force.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Agreste? How dare you hurt my best friend!" Alya roared. She balled her fists and Adrien flinched. Alya could be extremely frightening when pissed off. Both of her hands swung towards his face. Adrien simply sat there and closed his eyes, already accepting the pain that was about to come, but it never came. He opened his eyes to see Nino holding Alya back. "Why the fuck did you stop me, Nino? Adrien deserves to get his stupid ass beat! No one hurts my friends, especially Marinette!" she shouted.
"Violence is never the right answer, Alya. Come on, lets just leave," Nino remarked in a calm, quiet voice. He did not want to be around Adrien at that moment. Alya scoffed, but listened to her boyfriend's wise words. Adrien hid his face in his hands out of shame.
"What have I done?" he wailed. Nino turned back and gazed at his supposedly "best friend". He knew he should not, but he felt pity for the blonde boy. Alya eyed Nino, confused when he halted in his tracks. She followed his gaze to the blond. She, however, felt a pang in her chest once she noticed a tear slowly wet the floor. Nino and Alya's eyes met before they both nodded in agreement and sat down beside Adrien. "I don't know what came over me. I didn't mean anything I shouted at Marinette. She definitely hates me now. I'm sorry, Marinette. I'm so so sorry," Adrien wept again as more tears ran down his ruby cheeks. He began to tremble while Alya and Nino stared at each other, not knowing how to comfort him.

Marinette's POV
Uncontrollable tears streamed out of my red, puffy eyes. My breathing was out of control as I ran. I pushed the school doors open and was immediately greeted with rain which drenched me right away. I stopped in my tracks, thinking of where to go. I glanced at the bakery. No, I can't go there. I do not want to go home and face my parents in this state. I looked around some more until I spotted Luka on his motorcycle. He was already looking at me, to my surprise. As I gazed into his blue eyes that held so much kindness, a memory flashed through my mind.
"It's alright, Marinette. You can tell me everything or nothing if you prefer. You can be yourself with me, you know. Just yourself."
Luka's POV
"I'm going to hang out with Rose today," Juleka, my younger sister, mumbled. I offered to drop off and pick up Juleka from school everyday since she hasn't received her driver's licence yet.
"Okay then, I'll see you later! Call me if you need anything," I disclosed with a smile.
"Thanks, Luka!" Rose, Juleka's girlfriend, praised as the ran away to seek shelter from the rain. I was about to drive off when I noticed a familiar girl with dark blue locks run out of the school. It seemed like she was...crying? It might just be the rain on her face, however, I could not tell from this distance. She seemed to be in deep thought as she looked around quickly. Her head immediately stopped moving as her eyes locked with mine. She broke into a sprint towards me. About a foot away from me, she tripped over a rock that was in her path. Before she was able to crash onto the floor, I wrapped my arms around her to catch her.
"Whoa! Are you okay?" I asked.
"Thank you," she sniffled, not answering my question. Now that she was closer to me, I could see her face more clearly. Yep. She was definitely crying. Now I know something was up.
"What happened?" I questioned. Once again, she ignored my question.
"C-can I hang out at your place for a while? I n-need someone right now," she stammered as tears continued to stream down her flushed face.
"Of course! Hop on," I proclaimed. She sat down behind me as I turned around to give her my helmet.
"What about you? You need a helmet too," she queried with a concerned look while she grasped the helmet in her hands.
"I would rather have you wearing one then me. I'll be careful, don't worry," I explained. She simply nodded while I helped place the helmet on her head. She wrapped her arms around my waist before I drove off towards the direction of my home.
This chapter is shorter than usual but the next one contains some fluff.
