As hunger growled in his stomach, Aoi soon stepped into the cafeteria. After grabbing some food that at least seemed halfway decent, he scanned the room for somewhere to sit. His eyes stopped on a dark looking dude sitting alone at a table. Walking over to the table, he could feel eyes on him, he could see the girls in the corner of his eye. Dirty looks, and he knew why, he just didn’t care about it. He usually didn’t mind what others were thinking of him, but this mistake wasn’t his. Aoi didn’t feel like hanging out with his classmates right now, he would have plenty of time to socialize with them for a whole year, but right now he felt like he needed a break from them. And they from him.
  The guy at the table looked Asian, and like that kind of guy you don’t mess with. Someone who’s good-looking and knows it. But Aoi didn’t care, he just put down his tray and sat down in front of him. To be honest, he wouldn’t mind befriending someone who was none to mess with, it could be good to have a friend like that. He picked up his fork and some chicken, and frowned at the taste of it.
  “What is this? Do we actually pay for this food?” He looked down on the food, which tasted more bland than it seemed. It was chicken and rice, and Aoi wasn’t impressed at all.
  “Yeah. I bet I’m the wrong person to say this, but welcome to the States.”
  The guy in front of him didn’t have any accent as Aoi did, he didn’t sound Asian at all, but nor did he sound like all the New Yorkers. His way of saying he were wrong to welcome him here told Aoi that he maybe weren’t from the US.
  “Thanks… I guess you aren’t from here, so may I ask-”
  “London.”
  Aoi didn’t even get to ask what he had in mind, but nodded with a little smile. He had somehow hoped this guy would be from Japan, but it didn’t seem like it. His eyes went over the table to look for something to put on the food to make it less boring, but couldn’t find anything.
  “It’s my first day here too. I’m Sora, by the way. And you are wearing the wrong skirt.”
  Aoi’s eyes went straight back to Sora, and he could see him smirk back. Sora had dark hair with blond highlights and eyeliner around hazel eyes. Sora was the name of the guy who was going to be his roommate.
  “I’m Aoi, and I totally know that it’s the wrong skirt as they failed to send me any”, Aoi smiled back at him and just waited for Sora’s reaction. “Believe me, I’ve been told this all day.”
  Sora raised an eyebrow at him. “Koizumi?”
  “Yes.”
  Sora’s eyebrow was still raised. Aoi could tell he didn’t know what to say, and even if it was scary, it did bring something good. Sora wasn’t rude or mean for the sake of being mean. Aoi bit on his lower lip as he waited for the judgment.
