“Mom, I’m going to go out to play with Jake, I’ll be back later.” Lennon yelled, sticking his head back in the house to look at his mom.

“Ok son, have fun and say hi to Jake for me!” Melody replied.

Lennon ran out of the house, as fast as he possibly could. He was excited to meet up with Jake.

* EXTRA INFO* Jake is Lennon’s best friend. They have been inseparable since birth. Melody, Lennon’s mom, and Harmony, Jake’s mom, met when they were kids and became best friends. Lennon and Jake share the same birthday, March 27. When they first met each other, it was like they had an instant click. Like they were made to be best friends. They like the same things and don’t argue for the most part.

“Jake, where are you? I want to play!” Lennon shrieked, running around looking for his friend.

“Over here, by the creek!” Jake yelled back, equally as loud.

“Let’s catch some frogs today!” they said in unison. This was their favorite thing to do, and they did it often. Of course they didn't kill the frogs. They just caught them, showed each other and released them. They both prided themselves in their ability to catch frogs.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” a high-pitched, ear shattering scream could be heard from a mile away.

“Lennon, was that you? Don't scare me, where are you? Are you okay?” Jake squeaked out. He was seriously worried. If Lennon got hurt, he didn't know what he would do. Then all of a sudden, Jake could see Lennon, he was being pulled away by an unknown stranger. Jake then charged after the man.

“GET OFF HIM YOU PERVERT! DON’T LAY YOUR FILTHY HANDS ON HIM! HE’S NOT YOURS!” Jake immediately pulled his claws out and attacked the man. Within minutes, the man was dead. He had been shredded by Jakes claws. Jake retracted his claws and immediately ran over to Lennon.

“Lennon are you alright?! Did he touch you?! Are you hurt?!” Jake was worried out of his mind. What could he do?

Lennon couldn’t even open his mouth. He was terrified and in shock. He could barely believe what had almost happened. He had heard about the bad people that sold vampires, after all, drinking vampire blood made you healthier and prettier. But to have some human on the island, it was unheard of. Humans usually didn't know about the island. The ones who knew about were dead before they could spread the secret. The last human that had been on the island was 300 years ago! How is it that someone found the island?
