I sat reading my book when I heard steps up the stairs

"Hey, molly? How are you feeling?" Kim asks as he came giving me a hug in his loose blue jeans and his grey superhero shirt his blue hoodie over him loosely

"Better... doctors say a few more weeks till my ankle is better," I said

"Does that mean you can come back to school soon?"

"maybe" I shrugged as he sat with me

"what are you reading?"

"Lord of the rings" I smiled

"ooohhh..." He smiled

"So? why are you visiting today?" I asked

"You know a Saturday out the house plus I was headed this way anyway" He shrugs

"why where you headed this way?"

"Uhhhh.... look molly I uhh-"

"You done yet Kiss ass?" A voice asks from my door I looked and I froze with fear it was adam stood in his black jeans and a blue button-down "Hey manatee"

"What's he doing here?" I asked in a panic

"Please adam can't you just go and see your girlfriend already" Kim complained

"Fine... don't let her sit on your face Kimmi she'll break your neck" He laughed before he left again

"Adam is my brother Molly" he answered, "Didn't you notice we look like almost identical apart from our hair?" he laughed "He was heading off to see his girlfriend so I thought I'd pop in here"

"Adam has a girlfriend?" I asked

"Yeah, Linsdey,"

"Linsdey?" I asked very confused

"tall, Blonde, plays hockey? has the Gucci handbag for class?"

"Ohh I think she's in my English class"

"Yeah, she's nice a bit... uhhh stupid. shes been over to ours a few times I normally go outside and play football in the garden as they want the bedroom all to themselves" He explained "I don't get it"

"get what?"

"why he's dating her?"

"Well why not? she's pretty, I'm sure adam must like her"

"I guess molly, You... kinda like adam don't you?"

"Why would I?" I asked "He's tormented me for as long as I can remember, he's made every weekday of my life a living hell, he's called me names, he's sent me to hospital, he's had be crying myself to sleep more times then I can count, he's made me skip school so much, he's made me feel so bad that... I've stopped eating because of what he says about me, I've made myself sick, I've... I'm afraid of him." I explain "And I don't know what I did to make him do this to me"

"You... don't get how guys work do you Molly?" He says holding my hand "when a girl flirts with us, we're not interested. When a girl says no and walks away, We're obsessed. When a Boy makes fun of a girl... it means he likes her."

"Adam hates me..."

"Molly Listen to me... my brother is a fucking idiot who knows what to do with his emotions about as well as you know what to do with a dick" he laughs "I wouldn't tell you this if I didn't think it was true molly"

"I Just want adam to leave me alone, I just want to blend in... I don't want to be popular or a sports star or anything I just wanna blend into the background so knowone sees me"

"I know Molly," He says giving my hand a kiss "Anyway... do you think you can help me out for what to say on my date with mark?"

"Course Kim" I laughed
