Why did Gabriel just leave after all that?

-Too much to take in. Vampires in my universes don't remember their lives before the hunger, and when they do it's an overflow of emotions they're not used to. Gabriel had come to the realization that Fen would rather die than remain with him, the response to a question left unanswered for centuries. 

Is Fen the reincarnation of Jasper?

-To Gabriel, Fen and Jasper are the same, someone waiting for him to save them from the dark.

When/why/how did Fen start prostituting? Why didn’t he find another job?

-The short answer lays in Down Time, After Dark With Bad Habits, and A Remembrance. The longer answer will be in the revised novel, but I can say Fen met the wrong people and owed money that couldn’t be earned fast enough with a 9-5.

How old is Fen? Vic? Gabriel?

-Fen is 22, Vic is 30, and Gabriel is almost 200.

What happened under the overpass with Kellen and Tony?

-Saving that for the revised novel!

How many people does Gabriel hunt a night? Does anyone notice?

-Depending on the location, Gabriel will hunt 2-4 people whenever he’s hungry. And it’s only when people start to notice that he’ll vanish.

What is Fen’s real name?

-Saving that for the revised novel!

Does Gabriel do anything else besides kill people?

-Of course, he likes people watching, and sometimes he’ll read medical textbooks.

What happened to the men who killed Jasper?

-Saving that for the revised novel, but they all died screaming. 

Why didn't Gabriel let himself into Fen's home?

-Because he wasn't invited. 

Fen technically didn't invite him in either, so how did he enter?

-Fen asked for help, therefore inviting Gabriel to enter. 

Why didn't Gabriel kill Vic as quickly as everyone else?

-Let's be honest, Vic would have never won. Besides the light of day and others like them, vampires have no known weaknesses in my versions. That said, Gabriel enjoyed seeing a human stand up to him, and he intended for Fen to watch every agonizing moment. But, when Vic played dead and struck him, it brought back unpleasant memories.

If Henry and Jasper survived, what would things be like?

-I don't think Jasper would accept Henry's offer, fearing it would damage the man's reputation as an upcoming doctor. This would prompt Henry to move to Jasper's city and start his practice there. And yes, Oscar would begrudgingly tag along.

Has Gabriel met any other vampires?

-He's met a few and hated them all. 

Will Gabriel come back for Fen?

-Yes. But hopefully not in this lifetime.
