The old man found a way to do it.

He's gone.

I don't know what happened or what he did.

The world is breaking, and fast, too. We found him dead, a note saying "I'm sorry, I hope this fixes everything I've done." we don't know what that means. Our memories are fuzzier than ever. Maybe this world loved that old man..and now it's breaking..

Marie says 'Marie' isn't her name at all, and Celeste isn't my name. I don't know how bad her memory has gotten for her to switch our names around like that.

Something is wrong. I can feel it, even as I write now. Something has gone badly, badly wrong.

Maybe sometime a few years ago, when I had parents. Or now, I'm not so sure.
