#6 One-sided

Addressing people seems so easy in action if you have a topic or you know how to sneak in a conversation.

Most people are afraid of the possibilities of awkward silence or getting rejected

And sure I'm not afraid but I'm uncomfortable with that too

But I'm disturbed and uncomfortable by something else, especially after the first few steps

One-sided relationships

God how I hate those

One day I was walking with some friends, I stopped to tie my laces

they didn't stop and just continued to walk away

There was this one friend that I considered to be one of the coolest people I have ever known, she was so kind and independent

The next year she didn't even dare to look my way because she had better people to be around

She didn't even dare to say hi while passing near me

I have even further sensitive circumstances that I simply cannot speak of

I rarely had a relationship that wasn't one-sided, it was always either me or them who would end it

I would honestly prefer to cut ties with the most wonderful people, then to talk to them

Then realize how easy it is for them to stick a knife in my back
