*Clara and Clare reach a statue marking the entrance to the Emerald woods
Clare: We’ve arrived. Be on your guard Clara. These woods are like a maze and filled with all kinds of new enemies.
Clara: Don’t worry, I’m sure we can make it through this Forest easy, K!
Clare: You say that, and we’re already surrounded by Nutties! (A horde of Nutties appeared) Fun fact, Nutties are actually just Greenies with special coating, but are considered a completely separate species.
Clara: No time for that, we gotta fight, and I thought of great new attack to use with my hammer. I call it Chopper twins!
Clare: Do I Have to be a puddle each time you want to use that ridiculous attack?
Clara: Yup. (Clare allows her to try it, since it involves her becoming a puddle again, but she fails the spinning cycle) D’oh… (The big Nuttie she targeted lost its coating revealing a Goldie) Whoa, Shiny!
Clare: No Way, That’s a GOLDIE! They’re supposed to be super rare, and Clara found one easily. Clara! Grab him!
Clara: Oh, Okay! (She fumbles to get back up and ends up chasing it out of the battle)
Clare: Wait, Don’t leave me! (She’s forced to fight all he Nutties on her own) Why me?
*After Clare finishes clearing out the area of Nutties, Clara comes back.
Clara: Hey Sis! I caught the Goldie.
Clare: Great. …Where is it.
Clara: I ate it.
Clare: Whaaat! Ugh, this is what happens when I leave you with something valuable.(Clara laughs it off) More importantly, I found this!
Clara: What is it?
Clare: It’s a region map. It’ll show us a better layout of the area then our map. I’m going to spend some time studying it so we have a planned path rather us just getting lost.
Clara: But that’s boring~~~
Clare: Please can you just wait for a bit. It’ll only take a minute.
Clara: Fine… (Clara plays with a wild Makass by chasing it with her hammer)
Clare: I see… Got it! Okay Clara, I know the way we should take now. Follow me!
*Clare leads the way and they’re almost the the area she believes the reserve is hidden
Clare: (Proudly) Hah! We’re almost there. I told I knew the way, and you wanted to follow the barrels.
Clara: They were really convincing.
Clare: It should be just past here…
???: HALT! (A pair of eyes open on a wide tree)
Clare: Ack!
Clara: The Tree’s talking!?
Clare: we have one back home, remember?
Emeraldroot: I am Emeraldroot, protector of these woods. (He splits into three separate parts and walks around) Ahead is the great tree, Mother Emerald. Only some may pass. Some who find all three kinds of Emerald fruit.(The three parts change colors) Yellow Emerald fruit. Red Emerald fruit. Purple Emerald fruit. Find three types of Emerald fruit here. Then I let you pass. (A gate at his right opens)
*The girls walk away and don’t say anything until they are sure they’re out of hearing range.
Clare: That… was the creepiest thing …I have ever seen.
Clara: Right? It was so weird seeing him turn into three trees and walking around like that! They even change colors.
Clare: Well we have little choice now. We have to find those Emerald fruits, since I theorized that the reserve is in the Mother tree.
Clara: Why don’t I just burn him?
Clare: Idiot! If we act threatening, then we’ll never get the Golden drop reserve! There’s too much at stake for even one stupid mistake! Let’s start looking for those Emerald fruits.
*They walk around a bit, fighting more Nutties and Wild Makasses, but only see green Emerald fruits growing on the trees
Clara: Where are we supposed to even find Emerald fruits that are different colors? They’re EVERYWHERE!
Clare: I was guessing there would be specific trees growing them but they really are all the same. Maybe they grow from the ground or from a different plant. (They approach a large hedge)
Clara: Hey. There’s a small hole here. I could fit in there if I was mini me.
Clare: Fine, go have a look around. (She makes Clara Mini and she goes in)
Clara: There’s a gate and switch back here. I’m gonna hit it. (The switch opens gate on Clare’s end) Huh? It didn’t open.
Clare: There’s another gate out here that just opened and there’s a switch here too. (She presses it and Clara’s gate opens)
Clara: Oh. My gate’s open now, and look there’s a funny looking fruit growing here. (Clara acquired the yellow emerald fruit)
Clare: That’s definitely one of the Emerald fruits we need. (She turns Clara back to normal)
Clara: Alright! Let’s find some more!
*They move to a different part of the woods and find a cave entrance
Clara: “Purple Emerald cave.”
Clare: Seems too blunt. Nevertheless, obvious. (Inside they find the plant growing upon a cliff) How do we get all the way up there?
Clara: I’ll throw you up, and you just grab it.
Clare: No way. I’m not going to let toss me like a ball and… (Clara swoops her up)
Clara: Too late. Make sure you grab it. (She throws Clare in the air towards the fruit) Hup!
Clare: EEEEEEEEEEKKK!!! (She still manages to grab the fruit)
Clara: Great! You caught it. (Clare falls in to her arms) And I got you.
Clare: Okay, okay. Just put me down.*blushes* I wish prince Shimmers would hold me like that. (Clare acquired the purple emerald fruit)
Clara: Only one more to go.
*Exiting the cave and going even further, into the woods, the twins encounter…
Clara: Something’s digging its way up here.
Clare: What could it be? (A smaller version of Emeraldroot digs its way out of the ground)
Emeiroot: I am the granddaughter of the great Emeraldroot, Emeiroot.
Clare: Not another one.
Emeiroot: This is my room. And may I say, how DARE you enter a woman’s room uninvited?
Clara: Oh. Sorry about that, it’s hard to tell where a tree’s room would be in a forest.
Emeiroot: Well… Since we’re all girls… I’ll share my secret with you…
Clare: I bet it’s about true L…
Emeiroot: Nope! That’s for besties only. (She walks towards a crossed out circle) Have you noticed the spots on the ground like this?
Clara: Yeah. I’ve seen some of those spots before.
Clare: What are these spots supposed to signify?
Emeiroot: These are spots where Treasure pieces lie buried in the ground. If one digs beneath the earth, the pieces will pop out of the spot on the ground.
Clare: But we don’t have a method of digging at our disposal.
Clara: What about when I turn you into a puddle? Only when you turn back to normal, bring the piece back up with you.
Clare: That’s ridiculous! What makes you think that would work?
Clara: Dunno, but there’s only one way to find out! (She turns Clare into the puddle)
Clare: *….* Tl: *sigh*
Emeiroot: There are a total of five Treasure pieces hidden here. Find all five and I will open the door up ahead.
Clara: Okay. We’ll find them all! (Clare’s puddle moves to one of the crossed out circles) It should be right here sis.
Clare: .. …. ..?Tl: Is this it? (Her arm pops up holding a green emerald piece)
Clara: Whoa, it worked! Now we’ve got our first piece of treasure!
Clare: It was a bit strange. Like it was just floating down there.
Clara: You make it sound like we’re standing on really thin ground and your head is the only thing holding you from falling into oblivion.
Clare: That’s creepy. But it is what it feels like. Let’s just gather the rest of the pieces.
Clara: Onward to treasure! (After finding all the green emerald pieces)
Clare: …Three, four, and five. We got them all.
Clara: Yay. Now we can give them to the less weird tree to move on.
Emeiroot: You found all five! You have done very well. You may keep the Emerald pieces.
Clara: Really?! Now we actually own treasure!
Clare: That's rather pointless. We don’t really have a use for these, plus we are princesses.
Emeiroot: If you find marks like these on the ground, dig immediately. (Back door opens)
Clare: At least the door is open. Now we can press onward, and according to the map, beyond there is the furthest we can go.
Clara: So the last Emerald fruit must be there, right?
Clare: Correct. Let’s be off.
*In the last segment of the woods is a large hedge
Clara: The last heckle fruit has it be into in there.
Clare: Try looking for an opening. (She finds a small opening but something’s blocking it) What is this thing?(Clara spanks it and goes running in) CLARA! That’s both rude and immature!
Clara: It was asking for it. Now make me mini! (Clare hammers her down to size and she goes in)
Clare: Did you find out what it is?
Clara: ACK! Nope, RUN Away! (A Quadropod charges through the opening)
Clare: It’s a Quadropod. And you enraged it!
Clara: I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to make it mad.
Clare: We have no choice but to defeat it in order for it to calm down!
Battle Start
*Enraged, the Quadropod charges directly towards Clara and she barely jumps over it
Clara: Now it’s my turn. Take…
Clare: WAIT! (Clara trips) Attacking it directly won’t work. It’ll only make things worse!
Clara: Then what am I supposed to do? (Quadropod attacks again and Clare counterattacks, and its segment change color)
Clare: The Segments! Attacking the segments will weaken it until it won’t even bother to attack!
Clara: On it! (They dodge a ground slamming attack and begin attacking the segments) One more! (Attacks last segment and the Quadropod’s mood drops)
Quadropod: *sigh* Weh…
Clara: And Now for the finishing blow!
Clare: Clara, Wait! You don’t have to…(Clara uppercuts the Quadropod with her hammer to send it flying) …fight it …anymore…
Clara: What was that?
Clare: Nothing… Just go get the Emerald fruit. (Mini Clara goes in and acquires the Red Emerald fruit)
Clara: Now we’ve got all three. That weird tree thing had better let us pass when we show him these, or else I’ll burn his butt!
Clare: Don’t go starting forest fires.
