Mirror oh Mirror, on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
“You of course, my Queen,
Without a doubt, it’s seen,”
The mirror lied,
As to hide,
One fairer than is she.
“Your hair, as smooth as silk,
Your skin, white as spilt milk,
Your lips, as red as blood,
Your figure, same as a bud,”
The mirror lied,
As to hide,
One fairer than is she.
Alas, the years gone by and passed,
The Queen for every day has asked,
Who is the fairest of them all?
Each time, the Mirror on the wall.
Each time, the mirror lied,
As to hide,
One fairer than is she.
So it came the day the Queen has died,
The asking every day has dried,
And thus her stepchild found her way,
Where the Mirror spent its stay.
Oh Mirror Mirror, on the wall!
Who is the fairest of them all?
“You, my child, without a doubt,”
The mirror lied,
As to hide,
One fairer than is she.
