Saren got excited because he's curious about what would happen at Max Lvl.

He decided to fans a safe hiding place to evolve himself. He climbed a tree with thick branches.

He brings up his menu again now that he feels safe. Selecting the yes button. After selecting yes he is given 3 evolutionary lines to pick from. They were Variant line, Mature line, Acid line. Using his appraisal he gets more details on each one.

Variant line:

Strong with random effects/body modifications upon evolution.

Mature line:

Potentially leads to becoming a king/Queen. Low success rate.

Acidic line:

Turning yellow and black striped skin, stronger more potent version of current acid prior evolution.

Saren takes a minute to think of his options.

( Okay out of the 3 based on the there description, it seems the best route to take is the Variant line. It seems strongest for my future endeavors. Just scared of the set back it will give to my body.)

Saren selects the variant evolution line and falls asleep. 1 week goes by.

Waking up in a daze. With a big yawn and a long stretch. Saren remembered what was going on so he opens his menu again to see his stats and abilities if anything has changed.

  Saren is stunned by the sudden spike in all of his stats.

( Holy shit!! This is awesome. I didn't think it would be so drastic. Multiplied it almost by 4 times. My abilities leveled up as well.😁 Feels like I'm cheating hahaha. It also says Omnivore now? I've gotta check something now.)

Saren climbs down from his tree nest to get a good look at his reflection.

(Whoa!!! That's me?!? He notices he's skin has more scales on his body, he looked at his teeth. They are not as jagged, also have bicuspids and molars in the back now. Could this be a sign that I could become more human? Oh, and the biggest change is this fricken lightbulb sticking out of my head. To match the set my long forearms and my short leg have a glowing bolt on them. They all fluctuate in unison. the back fin grew smaller. My tail fell off. Now I just look like a gorilla fish. Still, have 5 digit webbed hands and feet.)

Suddenly with his spacial sense that leveled up, giving a greater radius to sense things around him. A large tree branch clipped his right arm. He tried to use his right hand for magic.

  Saren went flying just from that throw. He manages to tumble back onto his feet but it seems that his arm could be broken or out of the socket.

( Shit.., it hurts I can't move my arm. It feels like it's out of the socket. I've gotta counter-attack soon and I find this monster.)

Clenching his teeth on a small branch nearby he popped his arm back into place. Way easier to move but still usable but not for a drawn-out battle.

The water around Saren started to rippling. From the brush, a giant 4 foot tall evolved swamp siren sibling came out in full attack mode. This siren sibling was the last one and clearly wasn't stupid like the others before him. It seems that he chose the mature line to become the new dungeon layers, future king.

Saren dodges his onslaught of attacks and kept his distance as much as possible not even a second to appraisal.

Then Saren thought of something clever.

( I need to figure something out quickly to find out this guy's stats and skills. Since he's a heavy bulky type build and I'm more agile. Could have him chase me through the trees and that's when ill get me a chance.)

Saren conjured up some water needles hoping to do some damage and get him to chase after him. The big siren didn't seem to affect by hit even tho it was a direct hit to the chest. Fortunately, he took the bait charging towards him. They both raced up the trees. The large siren started losing his momentum. They reached about 15 feet in the air. This was his chance.

  Saren launches himself toward a large branch above him. Mid-air shooting 3 water needles breaking the beaches his sibling was about to grab onto. Which made him fall to the ground causing a good amount of damage. As soon as he lands Saren used the 'appraisal menu' on this larger siren.

( You've gotta be kidding me he was one of those 3 acid siblings and chose the mature line receiving tough skin and more strength. Now he has the best of two lines... Well this sucks.. the only upside is that he's half health and starting to get more fatigued.)

( How can I take this guy out? Well, I haven't used any of my skill points yet and this is the best time to use them.

I received an extra 5 from just evolving, but I'm not sure how to spend them properly. He'll definitely take a few minutes to recuperate from the fall. I'll have to ask the help system again for help.)

Saren quickly hit the help system button him his screen.

( That's so expensive! I know that there is another partial magic skill shown, but I'm sure it will need some form of resistance to whatever the magic is. So I'll have to spend all my points on both... Ugh. This better work.)

(This is perfect! The only issues are that it has a recoil to it and I would need to touch this guy because the radius for it is almost 0, but it has high damage. That's all I need right now. Hopefully, the resistance will help out.)

Sarens screen turns off and sees that the large siren is getting back up on his feet. Carefully he rushed down the tree branches getting ready to get a final blow in before anything can happen.

( I just need to imagine the electricity forming around my fist.)

Now Saren reached close enough for the final blow. He put almost all of what is left of his mana into this punch.

As Saren is about to give the final blow to the large sirens head, the large siren quickly turned his head at his spewing the last of his mana at him with his acid spit. Saren in mid-flight had no other choice but to punch through it. Sarens whole arm started to burn, but the critical hit landed. Instantly killing the large siren.

  Saren was already in so much pain trying to wash off the acid in the shallow waters nearby, but the recoil hit bringing his health down to almost 0. Barely able to move now, he used the last of his strength to eat the final siren sibling. His heart and mind we're in a state of panic.

( I might die again but for good this time. The Goddess doesn't have the power to help me, the acid effect is still bringing my health down. The healing effect of eating won't be fast enough for it to stop completely. I've at least gained the ability to move again from this food.)

( The only thing I can think of is to get help from mother. She shouldn't be too far from where I ended up.)

  When Saren finally found his mother it would be an image he'll never be able to forget.
