  Unknown to Zander, when a monster becomes strong enough. They can break through the layer curse holding them to that layer. The curse does not apply to humans or monsters from outside of that dungeon.

  Behind Zander during this massive battle of Monsters even to monsters, there was a weak pulsing light that grabbed Zander's attention for a brief moment. He ended up following sense there was no point in watching close by and be destroyed in the crossfire.

  The light leads deep into a cave not touched by lava we're actual water could survive without evaporating instantly. The path began showing crystals that shine a bright beautiful color of all shades.

  The path opened up into a big room filled with crystals bright on the ceiling. It was an old throne room from a prior king or queen.

  Zander and the whole layer start to shake again from the battle, but a large boulder on the path he came from started to fall collapsing the entrance to this old throne room.

  ( I should be freaking out or worried about my safety right now but I don't feel anything. Why is that? It feels like my mind is fading to nothing. It seemed fine while I was eating low-grade materials earlier. Maybe if I can eat a higher quality stone or Ore then my feeling won't start to dwindle away. Now that actually scares me. I don't want to forget the love I feel for my friends and especially Ferra.)

  Zander rapidly uses his Appraisal skill on all of the minerals, ores, anything of high quality. He found a Purple Rarity Ore. It was called Illumis Ore surrounded by water. It's as strong as iron but can only be used for a light source using mana or mana water on it.

( I guess since I'm stuck here till I can dig myself out might as well try this fusion with the highest quality ore here. While eating the mid-grade crystals and ores.)

Zander walked over to the ore surrounded by water, seeing his reflection for the first time.

(Holy fuck!! That's me!! Jesus, I look like a freakin totem pole... Ugh... Even good looks!.... goddammit, goddess!😭😭😭)

He dragged his arms to the ore to get to work.

  Zander dug around the Ore with his Gorilla sized hands. Managing to get a large enough piece to start his fusion process. Using the instructions he received earlier on how to use the fusion skill. He began by embracing the large stone. Then began to concentrate his mana from his body to the ore he wanted to absorb.

  He had to take breaks to not deplete his mana and from the rawring and screeching from the battle still going on.

A few days had passed. The entire layer finally was deathly quiet. Zander finally fused enough of the ore to be able to dig his way out, it also had a couple more benefits to the ore

  Zander being clueless to the fantasy gaming world accepted the evolution but it prompted 3 choices

Fortress line: 7 lines...

King line: 6 lines...

Elder line: 6 lines...

  He chose Fortress line only because he had a gut feeling that's what he was supposed to pick. His gut never lead him astray. He also didn't feel like reading the descriptions.

  Seconds later, a burning aching sensation his body started to absorb the gravel and stone around him like a whirlwind surrounding him. Then everything went black.

  Zander woke up almost a week later. He noticed in his reflection in the old throne room water he was much larger than before around 5 foot tall. His face didn't change much. Able to make more expressions he noticed. His eyes glowed more strong than before.

  He walked up to the collapsed entranceway to the old throne room. He started using his new ore body to demolish all the rubble and boulder in front of him. He was also creating support beams of rock with his leveled up earth magic. It takes a lot of mana to make these pillars. Even more physical endurance to dig out of this cave in.

A week later, Zander finally makes it out.

  What he finds left of the layer he once knew was astonishing in a terrifying way.

  The Dragon Roa was defeated. His body lifeless with his neck snapped like a twig. Zander walked over to the dragons body.

" Not so tough no huh!!* jab* *jab* 😎 That's right, not you lizard butt for brains!! 😂🤣 "

He continued to punch and dance around the body until it started to disintegrate in front of him.

(Umm... Did I do that?)

  While in the cave training and fusing he figures out he could place things in a small crevice in his body like a backpack. So he picked them up even tho they were heavy he still managed to walk far enough to reach back to where the banging noise started back up again.

  Most of the monsters around that area were dead or at the outskirts of the layer carefully making there way back to the home areas.

  Following the banging sound of pix axes. He made it through the second layer leveling up along the way. Using his abilities and skills like breathing.

  When he reached the first layer he found some railroad tracks leading throughout the cave. So Zander thought if he hid in with a bunch of rocks with ore he would get a free ride outside the layer...

(It actually worked somehow!! This necklace is no joke I guess.😌 *flex posing like he's the greatest in his mind*) 💪🏋️‍♂️

  As he is about to get loaded into the carriage the person who was a royal soldier. The soldier noticed two blinking eyes in the barrel of "ore" because it was noticeably heavier than the rest. That's when everything went downhill. His luck ran out.
