Alex woke slowly, unsure of what had just happened to him. He blinked his eyes open, bright white-blue light flooded into his slightly blurred vision, but after a moment it cleared up. He felt a chill through his body at the sight of the room he was in, it was strange, brightly lit with gray panels lining the walls. What seemed like advanced medical devices and computers stood next to empty white beds.

A person stood across the room from him, facing a computer display. The images on it seemed to move with the figure's hand gestures. From the white and green lab coat, he figured it must be a doctor, but Alex felt something else off about it. He sat himself up on his bed, he noticed it seemed to warm itself to his temperature at touch- an expensive bed for a standard hospital, but he figured maybe he was in an expensive hospital. "Wow, this is quite a hospital room mate, any chance I can get a tele with the game on?"

The doctor spoke before turning to him. "I apologize, but I don't know what you mean by that, and I do hope you don't really believe I am your mate.. I am with a mate already, you know." He spoke with an unfamiliar accent, Alex couldn't quite figure it out. The doctor then turned to him, and Alex became immediately petrified. The doctor was a man, but he was no human at all. His hair had covered from behind what turned out to be off-red, almost salmon colored skin, all of his facial features were very sharply angled, a short pointy nose and long wide ears that came to points at the tips.

Alex's mouth gaped at the strange sight of this oddity standing before him, "Yea, uh no, sorry I don't suppose you are my mate.. I must be dreaming, or comatose, right? Because right now I have no idea what is happening."

The doctor chuckled at this, "Well none of those things are true, you are aboard the main line transport ship 'Aborgand', seems someone found you stowed away in the cargo bay, unconscious. Fortunately you are healthy, those cabins don't get much air flow. You can also be thankful for the company's stow away policy, no charges will be filed or anything- so don't worry, this sort of thing happens too often. "

Alex hardly listened to the words of the doctor, still reeling over what must be a real, legitimate Alien-being in front of him, while trying to remember what the hell just happened to him.

He remembered the splitting headache, and the terrifying out of body-like experience zooming away from Earth at an impossible speed, and this made him wonder, did he die, and this is what is next? It was a confounded idea surely, but he couldn't quite explain it any other way to himself.

"Say, Doctor," he motioned the strange alien toward him, "Do you have a mirror I can use, I got this thing, I just need to check myself out." The doctor sort of shrugged and turned to open a cabinet above the monitor near the bed.

"Here, should suffice," he said as he handed Alex a small flat mirror. "Also, seeing as you are awake and presumably healthy from what I can tell, feel free to take your bag and join the other passengers in the common room until we dock at port, it will  only be a few more rounds until then. I've got some other tasks to get to, bye for now." The doctor left the room through an automated sliding door.

With that, Alex was finally alone, and he held up the mirror to his face.

"Oh what in the bloody fucking hell?!" Alex shouted, as what he saw in the mirror was quite a shock.

Not only did he see another red coloured alien face, but also he realized that his body was no longer what he knew to be the body of a man, he saw a rather slender face and, as he felt around under his clothes, he found what must be the alien equivalent to breasts, and another strange female part.

"Oh shite! really, the fuck of all has happened to me? Where is my bleeding cock!?"

He felt sort of ill, and quite anxious- he jumped from the bed and found the bag the doctor mentioned on the counter by the door. He snatched the bag and left the room, the hallway he entered was short, well lit and narrow, and lead to a junction of three other doors.

He paused for a moment to look at the doors for signs of where to find the commons. Above one of the doors he tried to read a sign, it was written in some language that for a moment meant nothing to him, just strange symbols, Then as though a switch flicked on in his head, he could read the sign, "toilets and showers."

He read the other two signs, and it felt very strange to him to suddenly understand an alien language. He found the correct door "Commons, passenger cabins" and as he went for it the door slid open automatically.

The next room he entered was like something out of a science-fiction movie, many of the other passengers sat around tables, joking and laughing, or using some sort of video devices on their wrists, which looked strangely familiar.

Most of the room was filled with aliens- many of which were the same red colour, and just a few were either a more orange or pink colour.  These ones were wearing more lavish looking clothes and distinct looking jewelry.  In a corner near the far door, under a sign that read "To Crew quarters"  Stood a single guard, wearing all black. His clothing seemed to shimmer almost, and at his hip was an almost gun-shaped weapon, which was a white and plastic looking.

He stood mostly motionless, yet as Alex entered the room his eyes momentarily looked over him, as they made eye contact, he quickly looked away. "Is this how it really feels to be a woman?" Alex wondered, as it was a very strange feeling- as he still could not understand this whole thing happening to him.

He walked up to one of the large windows away from the other passengers. The outside of the window was definitely space, as he realized this his heart skipped, he saw for the first time ever the entirety of outer space, while also standing in an actual space ship... Which seemed to be traveling speeds he couldn't quite fathom. Asteroids and faint far-off star clusters could be seen moving in the distance.

In the vast distance outside, clouds of varying colours and brightness seemed to paint the background of the solar system, not much different from sci-fi movies. He spent some time studying the speed that the asteroids were passing at, figuring that he must be traveling about five thousand kilometers every few seconds, and yet he felt none of the effects of moving at such a high velocity.

"What in the hell, how is this even possible," he muttered to himself, completely awestruck by the reality of it.

He turned away to sit in a standalone chair by the window, and as he did he noticed the door that lead to passenger quarters opened, and two younger looking aliens entered through it- giggling about something.  They saw him, and immediately their eyes widened and they moved toward him. "Hey, Adellus! It's us!" they moved quickly and crowded him on his chair, acting quite friendly. "Uhh, do I know you?" he said confusedly.  "Yes, how could you say that? our big sister!" The younger girl exclaimed at him, as she looked a bit confused by this herself, "How do you not know your own siblings?" This time said the boy. "Did they get to you?!"

Alex took a deep breath and spoke frankly, "To be honest I don't know where I am or how I got here, this isn't even my body. I'm sorry but I'm not your sister. What do you know about all of this? All I've got is this bag and I haven't looked in it yet."

Then the two siblings looked at each other, and quietly the boy said "Ohh. . . I think I know what's happened. Follow us so we can talk privately, you are going to need to hear this."

They stepped away to an empty corner of the room, "Okay you two, what the hell is going on?!" Alex spoke, drastically gesturing with his hands toward them. "Brace yourself for this junk!" Said the little boy, "our sister had stolen an experimental device from the company Tran-Astalus, she said something about it being able to trade minds with another sentient organism... We thought she was going to take it to the Resistance leaders, but from what we can see she used it herself."
