Ji Won was left to lay on the forest floor, completely unaware of one of his friend's drunken cries, all that he could focus on was his own pain and blurring vision. He was only aware of the light that had bathed a tree in front of him, for some reason the tree had a growth coming out of it, that he thought he would’ve noticed before, and what seemed to be sap pouring out from where the growth ended and the tree trunk started.
Thinking nothing of this, he tried to paw at the ground but found himself too sluggish and heavy that is own body wasn’t listening to him. All he remembered was that Park found him, but where was Park now?
Suddenly, a shadow engulfed Jung. The figure that stood in front of him blocked his view of the weird tree. The shadow called out to him in a familiar voice.
“-Won? Ji Won are you sobering up now?”
‘Park?’ was what Jung was trying to say but vomit ended up coming out instead. Park's lips seemed to move to say something (he was probably bad-mouthed Ji Won to his face as that was in his nature), but Jung couldn’t hear what he was saying, so was none the wiser. However, he was carefully picked up and put in a position more comfortable for him to clear his digestive system from the excessive amount of alcohol he drank. All the while, Park rubbed his back in silence, waiting for Ji Won to finish. Although Jung was cautious of Do Yoon, he was reluctantly thankful that he was there, because if he wasn’t, he probably would’ve ended up choking on his own vomit. And dying due to intoxication and vomit in the middle of nowhere was definitely not the way he wanted to go.
Ji Won could feel something bore into the side of his face, he sluggishly turned his head towards the feeling, only to be met with Park’s intense yet clouded eyes. Do Yoon’s stare was very sobering as it began to make Ji Won increasingly uncomfortable in his own skin.
“Stob staring at mee,”
Even though Jung was soberer now he still managed to slur his words and break eye contact, much to Park’s displeasure.
“Ji Won look at me.”
Jung shook his head in refusal. Silence followed soon afterwards until Ji Won felt a hand squeezing his cheeks together and forcing him to turn his head around. Do Yoon’s eyes penetrate his soul, making Jung feel like a deer caught in the headlights. Unable to look away.
“I said look at me.”
“Wut do yu wan’?”
This time Jung’s barely audible words were no longer that product of intoxication, but the fact that Park was restricting the movement of his lips.
As if displeased by Ji Won’s answer Park squeezed his cheeks harder and his facial expression had become unreadable, not that it was like an open book in the first place.
