The day was calm in the city of Spearopolis, Until suddenly there is a disturbance. Malicious Fingers flying his new jet engined new hovercraft. Getting away from his pursuer, Jet Stream. With Katrina McCain and Leon Grey following not too far behind on Katrinas motorcycle.

Gun and laser fire being exchanged out the back of the Malicious' new hovercraft. Aiming at Jet who happens to be dodging effortlessly.

"Stop chasing me you insufferable child! Can't a genius be able to go on a test flight without being disturbed?!" Malicious said, screaming out behind him as he is being chased. "You can, If your day didn't consist of using civilians as target practice!" Jet retorted.

Heading out of the City now and onto the open freeway heading out towards the east which happens to be elevated above the ground level. Malicious then blasts one of the supports and then flies above over it, As it crumbles he ends up flying high up into the sky, Presumably out of reach of our heroes. "See how you can handle that! Myeheheh!"

Jet, Ahead of his two cohorts, skidding to a halt. However having gone too fast to catch up to Malicious, believes he isn't going to make it until a Portal opens in front of him just BEFORE he goes over the edge as he's still going through this portal at close to top speed until it suddenly closes behind him.

Katrina stops her Motorcycle long before they reach the edge of the now-cliff side. As both her and Leon wonder where Jet has gone off too. Wondering if it is one of Malicious' dastardly traps. However seeing him and nothing in site and seeing that no one was hurt. A Blackened bird, seemingly dripping with Ink or black goo happens to swoop down and drop a letter, before having melted and seemed into the newly formed cracks in the road.

Katrina picking it up observes it. "...What is this?" "Be careful." Leon responds, As he just saw the Bird seemingly melt before his eyes. "Could be a device or explosive planted by Malicious" Leon added.

"You're probably right. I'll just tear it up and toss it." Katrina replies and proceeds to do so. "Wait! Don't!" Leon quickly responds as Katrina tears the letter. Upon tearing the letter time has stopped and then suddenly they drop through the floor which is suddenly blackened with goo. Until finally appearing on the other side of the floor to where Jet has seemingly gotten himself into.

Observing this take place, Seeing the bird melting and then Jet disappearing. Unknown to anyone, Malicious Fingers saw everything transpire and confused, then suddenly start smiling. "Curious." he mumbles before flying off. Laughing.

"...It could be- Huh?" Leon finishes up as he suddenly cuts himself off and draws his weapon. Immediately ready for immediate danger. "What?!" Katrina exclaims before the letter disappears out of her hands. Jet, who was there first was looking around at his surroundings. Notices they are on a square platform that is gridded, it what appears to be endless void below and all around them. He then spots other folks showing up and appearing out of nowhere in the distance until he finally sees his two friends. "Bout time you guys showed up." Before rushing over to see if they're both okay.
