I woke up with a pounding headache and a very pissed Jace. "What?" I rubbed my head and groaned.
"What happened yesterday?"
"Shit, I don't know." My brother raised his eyebrows. "Damn my head hurts. I think I might be sick."
"Or you have a hangover." I removed my hand from my head with a questioning look.
"You really don't remember?" I shrugged. "Geez how much did you drink?"
"Drink? What are you talking about?" Jace walked to my mirror and removed my jacket.
"If you want to know ask your little friend." He put air quotes over the word friend.
"Oh shit What did I do?" I rubbed my head. "Sorry for anything I did. I had no control over my body." Jace just rolled his eyes.
"You're lucky mom and dad had an emergency meeting." Jace left my room while I sighed. Thank the lord it's Saturday.
"So you're not going to tell me?" I called out to my brother. I decided to take some medicine because I have no idea how to cure a hangover. Drinking water must be good for you, I think.
"Oh," my brother popped into my door. "Don't think you will be leaving to the park today." I sighed. I figured that would happen.
Robin, do you mind telling me what the fuck happened last night. I texted Robin because my brother did not seem to be in the mood to tell me.
Robin: Ask your brother.
Chase: Already tried he told me to ask you.
Robin: Fuck, okay. Uhh, things. I don't know.
Chase: You are not helpful. My brother is pretty pissed at me and I don't even know what I did.
I sighed and got up to grab a glass of water. My brother munched on a carrot which was odd because he doesn't like carrots, but I left him be.
Robin: Well you were drunk. You went to the park. I had to take you home because you were about to pass out and thought you were going to die. Your brother brought you inside and that was pretty much it.
I found that hard to believe that was all that happened.
Chase: You didn't leave out any detail, right.
Of course he didn't answer. That's just like Robin.
Chase: Loser.
I grabbed a hold of my water and just drank the whole thing. Hangovers feel like shit.
Chase: So are you really not going to tell me the rest?
Robin: You don't need to worry about the rest. Actually you should probably sleep. That helps with hangovers.
Chase: You are going to tell me Mr. Ryder.
Robin: You sure?
Chase: Yes. You. Will.
I sighed then laid back in bed. Resting doesn't sound half bad.
When my parents came home, my brother played it as if I got sick. My mom went to my bed side to nurture me with random remedies and my dad just called me a wimp. I insisted I just needed rest but my mother decided to give me everything in the book to help with my symptoms.
"Thanks." I told my brother while my parents left.
"You should be happy. I could have told them everything." I held my hand out to him.
"I mean it dude. Thanks." Jace high fived me and sighed.
"In return, don't go to the park." I nodded.
"Got it captain. I will stay in bed the whole day. Don't worry about me leaving. No siree." Jace just laughed and shook his head.
"I swear, Chase."
