I wake up and look in the mirror to see the dried tears on my face. I go to the bathroom and take a shower. When I get to my room Mark is sitting on my bed. "Hey Cory," Mark said while I walk in without saying a word. I go into my closet to put some clothes on. "Cory I know I overreacted last night and I'm sorry. I know you look up to me and I didn't want to hurt you," Mark said while I put my clothes on. I walk out of the closet and I go sit on the bed with Mark. "I accept your apology," I said hugging Mark. "I'm happy we made up, well I'm going to leave you alone while you get ready for school," Mark said as he walked out of my room. I pack my things into my backpack and my dad comes to my room. "You ready?" he asked. "Yes," I said while I grab my phone and backpack. "Go get in the car," my dad said. I go get in the car and get on my phone. After a little, my dad comes to get in the car and start to drive me to school. "Cory," my dad said. "Yes," I said looking up from my phone. "I am bringing you to school today but after today you will need to walk and in the evening your uncle, will come and get you from school and bring you straight home," my dad explained. "Okay," I said before going back to my phone. I get bored with my phone so I look out the window. "Cory be more energetic it's your first day of school," my dad said. I was shocked by how nice my dad was being to me. "I'm just really nervous," I said with a big smile on my face. "See, look at that smile," my dad said. "I will try to have a good day," I said. We sat in silence the whole day.
