Orientation day has arrived. She walks alone towards the incredibly beautiful as it is ginormous castle that is the school, the hybrid nowhere to be seen as he had been stored away in one of her bags, utterly safe and sound and completely oblivious to the world around him. She walks with her satchel that is made with a dark pink material that seems like leather with a sky blue steel for the turn lock (in the shape of a spade) and electric blue steel for the lobster clasps for the shoulder strap, a mixture of the two very different steels for the shoulder strap and the electric blue clasp. Sky blue steel for the handle attached to the flap that is folded over the side, underneath the flap is a beautiful mixture of ocean blue and pink coral zipper with a water lily pull upon it. Her frankenstein worthy backpack lying directly over the shoulder strap that is connected to her purse. Her uniform hugs her body in all of the right places and it's clear on her face that she isn't happy about it. The official school uniform is black and white long sleeved shirts with the school insignia that is upon the left breast, but the accents and accessories are that of the house that they rein, the skirt design and length for the girls are for the house they reign (the skirt must have black in the design) and at their discretion and if they so wish, they can have their house insignia upon it, pants for the boys have to be black and with their house insignia on it, with a belt with the school insignia on it but what style is at their discretion. The shoes are a mixture of the house and the school, depending on the house of course, the socks have to be white or black or the mixture of the two. No exceptions. The school jackets are the color of the house you reign with the school insignia blazoned on the entirety of the back and on the left breast and right pocket, zipper or buttons are up to the student but if zipper must have the school insignia and if buttons, a mixture of house and school insignia.
Lilliana's uniform in particular is white shirt with reflective rainbow thread, her skirt is a long tulip skirt that is candy red with solid black hem, stark white and pitch black striped thigh high socks, her shoes are a mixture of hiking boots, combat boots, running shoes and wedge ankle boots. Red rubellite and obsidian black in color, the threading is emerald green, the zippers are sapphire blue and the buckles are topaz. Her jacket is that of the bright ass candy red diamond that shimmers every color of the color spectrum in the light, the jacket is the buttons and zipper combination, the zipper is jade green, the buttons are brass and silver crystal. She wears her hair in an off center ponytail braid on her left side that is of silver crystal with a diamond shaped hairpiece (it resembles a tiara but with only a large diamond that is the only thing showing out of the entire hairpiece) that'll hold it together. She wears multiple kinds of bracelets, a tennis bracelet with purple gemstones (of different kinds of gems and shades of purple), a link bracelet of malachite gems, a byzantine chain bracelet of sterling and gold and a penannular bracelet that changes color depending on the circumstance or otherwise. Silver heart dangling earrings and different types of rings upon her fingers and of multiple designs. Her nails are completely nude as she had not the energy to paint them.
She walks right up to the school gates and the school lions that are at the gate practically blink in surprise, they had to do a double take as they look at the girl, "Name and House?" asks the lions, the lions are the only way that you can get into the school, they are made of a beautiful gray stone with a mystifying passion purple. The girl looks them both in the eye (unlike the majority of first years and even some seniors), "Lilliana Shards of The Eden House." She says evenly but boldly. It's clear that she doesn't want to be here but doesn't have a choice in the matter. Her posture is perfect, back straight and head held high. The gate opens as the eyes of the lions glow and the girl walks through the gates and onto the grounds, luggage in hand. The school's gargoyles had swooped down and stopped directly before her bags and flew away as fast as they could as she held a glare that says, 'touch anything. No one finds your body. Don't test me.' the gargoyles of Mix Academy are well known not to be frightened easily and when this outsider of the norm; someone that had not been enrolled into any form of academy or school as she as well as her mentor chose to continue learning within The House. Many chooses the schooling route instead of learning in The House that they reign as many of the houses don't want the kids to be crippled by their 'limited' knowledge and credentials (also known as expertise) or just plain don't want them there and shipped them off as soon as they could. So to have a girl that only knows the ways of a singular house drive off The Mix Gargoyles, she is someone you don't want to mess with. It also shows that there's more to The Eden House than everyone seems to believe. Lilliana keeps her luggage close to her and has them in a death grip *her luggage is tied together with a fire red and ash black rope all on wheels made from the rope and the wheels of the suitcases, while she carries one of each in each hand and the rope is tied to each one*. With the sound of flapping wings, the light of the sun was obscured for a good moment as a large gargoyle (at least 7ft in height) places themselves directly before the girl...she is the only one in the courtyard as she took her time getting to the school...and she knew that she couldn't leave the courtyard until she only has her satchel and backpack as it has what she needs for orientation. The large gargoyle stands before the girl at their full height; it's male, dark gray ascending purple stone becoming skin, long black hair cascading down his back, long tail and black eyes, he bows to the young woman who never took her eyes off of him,
"I apologize for the confusion madam Shards." says the large gargoyle
"If you can explain of what your men were planning to do with my bags I'll be more than a little grateful." she says her voice sharp, understandable given her circumstances, the male thought
"We gargoyles are tasked to take the things and belongings of the students to the tower where it'll be held until the students are sorted into the appropriate housing. We are also tasked with protecting the housing and the perimeter if a threat were to arise and had gotten passed the stone lions that guard the front." he explains, "I am the leader of this clan. I promise you that your belongings will be safe and returned to you as soon as you find your housing." he swears his clawed hand over his heart. She grits her teeth as she debates internally to trust the gargoyle's word or not. A gargoyle's promise is worth it's weight in gold...but if the gargoyle is cunning, they are djinn with their word and can become your downfall if you are not careful. The gargoyle can see the conflict upon her face, he knelt before her and placed a palm upon one of her hands, which are turning white from how tight her grip upon her luggage is, "I swear upon my name that your belongings will remain safe and all that you own is undisturbed within the confines of your bags," he says to her, his voice sincere and rubbing his thumb upon her still whitening hand, only then has she loosen her grip upon her bags, but not by much, she still holds eye contact with the gargoyle, she doesn't have to say anything to know what she wants, he smiles serenely, "my name is Altex." with his name given, she gives him the two bags that holds all of her things *the ropes will burn you if you try to steal them...or try to take the suitcases from her hands*, he whistles for one of the other gargoyles, a female this time. Bluish gray stone skin, waist long wild bright red hair (almost resembles blood), a gold circlet upon her forehead with matching gold accessories upon her person, gold loop earrings and gold cuffs, gold bracelets upon both wrists, gold armband upon right arm, gold anklets where one is a gold charm bracelet upon her left leg and a few tail rings, and a gold necklace wrapped around her neck; dressed in shredded ivory silk, her eyes are dark green that has red boarding the ring. The beautiful female guides the quiet girl to the orientation hall, going from concrete pathways to marble and gem paths...the gargoyle stops at the end with the two torches with floating crystals at the end. The gargoyle turns only her head towards the girl, "can you fly?" she asks her voice powerful and a little deep for a woman but perfect for her, the girl nods still holding her tongue.
The winged woman grits her teeth in a mixture of anger and concern and with a force, she sticks her arm out to the girl offering her hand, "give me your hand. I'll fly you there."
"You don't have to do that." The girl murmurs to the woman
"You are already being forced to come here. It's the least I can do to help you feel welcome here at the very minimum." the woman counters, the girl slumps her shoulders as she accepts that the woman is right.
She accepts her outstretched hand and the woman unfurls her large bat like wings. With a single beat of her powerful wings, the redheaded pair are airborne. The creature flies high into the sky (at least 30,000-90,000 feet) to a flying building that is the size of a coliseum and a major hospital with it's own parking garage and landing area. It's a beautiful sight really but she doesn't show her awe or wonder upon her face. The two land onto the glowing charcoal steps, "I'll join you for the trek, after all. There has to an explanation of why you remained in the courtyard for a while." she says as she pulls the girl by the hand to the large silver and white double doors. The gargoyle releases the girl's hand as they reach the double doors and the silver and white upon the door begins to shimmer and shine and the girl kicks straight up kicks the door open, the doors slam open as the glowing upon the doors stopped with a snap and pop. She walks into the room and all eyes are on her as her uniform is the most unique amongst the sea of black, white and gray with only accents of color. One of the teachers that is in charge of herding the first years, a man of royal blue and mauve robes with pastel yellow crystals around his neck connecting with a white chain, his skin incredibly fair, mid length chestnut hair with blonde highlights in a loose ponytail braid that rests on his right shoulder, curved frame glasses sitting upon his nose and a scowl resting upon his face as his eyes are closed; he pinches/rubs the bridge of his nose thus lifting his glasses showing that he is rife with irritation, "I take it you are Lilliana Shards?" his base voice showing his ire as he speaks, "correct." the girl says only just loud enough for him to hear as he is on the platform. He's also clearly underneath a lot of stress, he looks at the girl with glowing jade green eyes and makes eye contact with the girl, his eyes go wide at her appearance but with a deep breath he breaks eye contact with her.
The gargoyle bows to the girl, sliding her something into her jacket pocket (as her hands are clenching the strap of her purse) and leaves promptly. "Please find your house insignia amongst the students." the herder explains to the girl and she walks through the student body and finding the symbol of The Eden House. Right up front....the very front row with some of the noble houses and royalty, great. Just great, Lilliana thought as she stands in the ring where no other student or teacher could move even if they wanted to. Once the student is allowed into the ring, it disperses and with great fanfare; unlike many of the other students of different households. Many students glare at the colorful girl, while she remained stone faced, "I understand why you were late. I truly do. But please; do try and be punctual." the teacher pleas while some students snigger quietly as she remains quiet. The other teachers begin to file in and one of the teachers...
Is Militrix.
Lilliana holds her tongue as she went from cooperative (with the gargoyles) and quiet. To that of an enigma and completely mute. Her facial expression went from poker face still able to be read to that of something completely unreadable. Not even her body language could be deciphered. Every student saw this steep and sudden change. She doesn't even glare at the blue clad woman, or any sort of contempt towards her. She had completely shut down any or all emotion from what has just transpired. Lilliana paws at one of her bracelets, more specifically her beaded bracelet. She got a translucent bead, it immediately changes...as if filling up with color, it's a beautiful brown that glitters gold, she shifted the bead through her fingers and now balanced on her pointer finger and thumb, balancing on her thumb nail, as if it were a marble. She launches said marble into the air through an empty window. The students near her saw this go on and are amazed that she did this all fluidly and without showing any facial or bodily changes.
This is gonna be a LONG year, Lilliana thought.
