"My name is Militrix, I'm the head of Student Discipline and your Magic Manifestation and Combat professor." Militrix announces as she takes over for the man, "The man over here is Elvian, your potions and brews professor. Who also serves as your culinary professor." she says as the chestnut haired male sat down at the head table, near one of the plants. Half elf huh? Lilliana thought upon hearing the other professor's name, I might actually have a comrade here, she inwardly hopes as Militrix gives her speech of welcoming the students, "I know that many of you have come here during your free years but I wish to personally welcome, Lilliana Shards. The first of the Eden House to come to Mix Academy in 900 years!" Militrix exclaims and all of the students including the seniors (they are on the higher floors) all applaud the girl as the Eden House Insignia glows above her head, a beautiful tree that isn't truly a tree, it holds all of wildlife and nature within it even though it looks like a tree. Illusion and delusion at it's finest; wild and free yet contained and controlled: nature at it's very finest. Lilliana held the spotlight with both hands in her pockets so she could hide her clenching fists, Nierion comes out of her satchel and onto her shoulders purring around her neck and nuzzles his face against her cheek, trying to calm her down. "Ah! I was wondering where he went." Militrix laughs, Nierion immediately stops purring and eyes snapped open his eyes a sickly green that seem to glow in the dark or seems to absorbing light to use during the night. The hybrid went back into her satchel within moments of hearing Militrix's voice. "Seems he doesn't like you." Elvian chuckles, the woman's eyebrow twitch as did her large smile but still continues to speak, "would you please show us a 'parlor trick' that you would do at The Eden House?" an order disguised as an humble request.
But Lilliana complies.
With a sigh, she pulls her dominant hand (left hand) out of her pocket and loudly snapped her fingers, an orb of light comes over her open palm, she weaves her hand right over the orb, the orb bends and shifts into something else and with a flourish, she had brought a rose directly before their eyes, the rose is made of pure light. It also seems freshly cut too. One of the seniors roars, "A Divine Rose?! How in the hell did she do that!!!" Nierion this time speaks, "whoever said she's done?" only Lilliana and Militrix recognize his voice and all of the students are frantically looking around for the source, she opens her palm, the rose balances in her open palm and with a flick of her wrist the rose vanishes and she sticks her hand back into the pocket. The smirk on her face says it all. The screams of shock and amazement of the upperclassmen causes all of the staff to look around the room, the entire room...nay, the entire BUILDING is covered and decorated with these beautiful blossoms of light, "what's that on the chandelier!?" shouted a first year, huh. So they do look up, Lilliana thought and all heads snap to the chandelier, all the relatives and close relatives of The Divine Rose has taken hold of the chandelier, completely decking it out in a new etherial light. "You asked for a parlor trick. You get a parlor trick." Nierion says as he comes out of her bag and changes his size to that of a small to medium size dog (meant for home, travel and possible panic/anxiety attacks). He sits up straight and sticks close to his partner.

Nierion is what some people would call a service animal.

"Did you really have to show off?" Nierion asks the teen, everyone is awestruck and gobsmacked at the roses that have quite literally coated and wrapped all around the building especially the now decked out chandelier that isn't burning the flowers in the slightest. If anything it'll just add more light and radiance to the flowers.
"Go big or go home and since we aren't going home." The teen replies her voice is very monotone.
"Eh...good point." The hybrid agrees.

"That's quite the trick!" Militrix's voice cuts through the student body. It cuts through the awe and attention had been once again placed on the professor. She knows how to control a room, Lilliana thought as she remains standing unlike many of the students and most of the upperclassmen, teachers and faculty.
She then went on with her speech until it was time for the second part of orientation.
The Test of Housing.

The Test of Housing is that the teachers will test just how powerful you are so they don't just end up in a hellish situation...and it'll also determine your classes and your seating within said classes. Within mere moments, a large vine and stock that is stories tall, glowing orbs and gems upon certain places. A large gold goblet at the very top. "This orientation is quite simple." everyone looks at Lilliana and she is unfazed, she knows it's made with 'her' in mind. They don't know anything and believing treating me like a small child is the right way to go, Lilliana thought as she turns to the large plant, it's beautiful, far more green and lush than most. With other kinds of bulbs and buds amongst it, it's a mixture of different kind of vines and the stock are a mixture of different stock plants as it is with the vines. The leaves upon these plants are of different varieties as well, "get to the golden goblet at the top. You may use any tactic or ability as you see fit." Militrix explains as all the first years are eager to use everything they have, they all want the gold goblet. All but Lilliana, who isn't all that eager to show every kind of spell and abilities that they have, including abilities that are unique only to them. She looked at the hybrid and he looked at her, "You got this?" Nierion asks as the ring begins to dissipate, "I got this." she sighs, "stay here. Watch my bags." she says as she takes off her purse and backpack and places them near the hybrid, to which he interweaved himself between the bags and if they want them they'll have to go through him and those claws of his look really damn sharp. Lilliana stretches her arms, cracking and popping in certain places and moves her head from side to side amongst other stretches, cracking and popping in all the appropriate places.
The ring dissipates and all the students but Lilliana who remained standing there raced to the stock, some even summoned wings and flew up.
They are in for a rough ride.

The stock and vines made it incredibly difficult, the vines whipping the airborn, the leaves being either incredibly bouncy and throwing them off, the bulbs spewing different kinds of spores and the buds blooming into small flowers that do a lot of things that are incredibly fierce. One student, another girl, with slightly pointed ears, ivory skin, short turquoise and electric turquoise hair in an long undercut pixie, dark yellow and light orange eyes and she had summoned a large dark blue and lilac golem fighting quite valiantly against the vines and the combative leaves. She also launched all sorts of high quality spells against any that came near her. Trying her best and damnedest to get the goblet...and only the goblet.
Lilliana just watched the chaos unfold. Until a girl with forest green hair, white blossoms decorated around it, dressed in the school uniform, her skin is that of tree bark and she had landed directly next to the girl in question, A Sadieden, Lilliana thought as the girl stood up next to her, a doll trying to get to her, her eyes snapped open, electric green and yelled at Lilliana, "Aren't you going to do something?!" she shouts, "Not yet. I'm having fun." the other girl replies as she watches the struggle, this did not please the green haired girl, "Do you even care about trying to pass through orientation!! Are all of The Eden House so haughty that you don't think you need anything!!!" she shouldn't have said that. The air dropped ten degrees and she looks at the Sadieden with the coldest stare that anyone has ever seen, she now wishes that fall either shattered her arm or snapped her neck as she believes she's gonna be disemboweled by her new schoolmate that is from a house that is little known about them or its achievements being actively ignored, "I don't even want to be here. But if you so insist." Lilliana growls out and the flowers within her hair almost frost over as she shakes in absolute fear as she sees the specter of death directly above the redheaded girl staring directly at her, daring her to anger her further.
Lilliana had been provoked and now walks towards the tower. She has now entered the fray and now has the attention of everyone but the turquoise haired girl who was solely focused on getting the golden goblet at the top. None had stopped to get any of the orbs or gems.

The race was on.

Lilliana walks casually to the single green and white leaf that is large enough to fit a small car and hops onto it, the leaf launches her into the air to the next similar one. They all have orbs and gems upon them, to which she is the only one that took them. Moments later she is near the top and the turquoise haired girl spotted her, all students were watching Lilliana including her, "there aren't any of those leaves up here!!!" she shouts to the girl, her voice a little husky but still pleasant to the ear, "grab onto the golem!" she roars, as she summoned a large hand to try and catch her, both girls are near the top, "it's alright. But I thank you for your concern and for that, I'll repay you in kind." Lilliana says calmly, this threw the other girl off and she cut the spell making the arm vanish. The girl remained where she is as she wants to see what the redhead is planning. She continues to drop like a rock when a white vine with cherry blossoms upon it shot out from the stock and wrapped around her waist and flung her into the air, the petals still floating around her, glowing a faint aura around them. What she was going for. She flew around the stock acting like she has wings and flew at rapid succession with the petals vanishing and the aura fading just as quickly, she got to the other girl who had her arm outstretched planning to continue climbing but Lilliana had gotten hold of her wrist and instinctively returned with a death grip, the golem dismissed and the two are now flying straight to the top, the final burst of the glowing cherry blossom pedals and blossoms giving the two what they need to go to the top, the moment that the two touched ground at the top of the top, the pedals fall around the pair and the aura vanishes completely.
Lilliana just walks straight for the goblet and placed a hand onto the goblet into her hands, the orbs and gems that she had collected had flown from her form and fused themselves to the goblet, now...it's radiating with power. The turquoise haired girl ran up to her once the fusing of all the gems and orbs to the goblet had revealed the goblet's true form (a double handled goblet aglow with power),
"How did you know about the goblet?" she asked
"Why didn't you go before me? You were determined to get the goblet first and you had a chance." Lilliana replies
"You earned it. But how did you?" the turquoise girl coaxes
"Simple. The goblet may be pretty but knowing that this goblet has more to it than it meets the eye. I knew just getting the goblet doesn't mean it has the power to behind it."
"That's true. But the gems and orbs?"
"Think about it. Would you really place them around the stock if they didn't serve a purpose? Like say, the actual firepower of the goblet."
Her orange and yellow eyes go wide as she now puts all the pieces together. Lilliana places a hand on her shoulder snapping her out of it, the other girl sees that she's offering to hold a handle while she holds the other. The turquoise girl accepted the offered handle and both girls were teleported to the stage where all the staff are. The two girls are met with applause from the teachers and the students, the other students that are first years are giving polite applause while glaring daggers at the redhead. The green haired girl biting her lower lip, trying to bite back tears.

"Good job you two!" Militrix cheered as she walks forward towards the two. Lilliana lets go of the goblet and walks off the stage; completely ignoring the gasps of literally everyone, "wait where are you going? Do you not want your prize?" asked Elvian causing the girl to turn back,
"She had fought hard to get to the goblet. She would've gotten thrown off and bashed her skull in half if she kept climbing. Even though she didn't have to, she tried to help me when I was still in the air. So for her act of kindness, I thought I would return it in kind." She answers nonchalantly as the hybrid handed her bags back to her, the others were shocked but the other girl looked to the stock of where she was climbing and sees that Lilliana was right, there was a black vine that was ready to smack her down and it will cause the other vines like to go at her, giving her little to no time to recover and by the time she did she wouldn't be able to save herself. The prize didn't really matter to her since she is practically forced to become a student at the academy.

The orientation went on and the congratulations of the other girl and she had gotten one of the best housing within the school, The White Rock Dorm. The best part? She gets The Marble Suite all to herself. The ivory girl had tears in her eyes once the prize had been revealed, the staff looks at Lilliana for an reaction now the prize has been forfeited to her partner, not what they wanted. She isn't moved. She just adjusted her bags back onto her person. She just waits for it to end and so that she could go to her dorm, so that she can break down and plot in peace.
