Few blurs of light were spotted distant to Jun’s village, falling from the clouds and crashing to the earth. Certain specs of colour clashed in mid-air, waves of energy and an aura of destruction ensued. Through all this, the villagers had begun a rush to the emergency bunker - a vault designed for storms but for one as powerful as this nobody could tell.
A small group of mages hurried outside to protect the people from the hazardous environment, setting up magical barricades above to ensure safety. In addition, the knights on-hand had rushed to help those in need. Species of all kinds had to work through this one together. Elves, dwarves, nymphs, and humans. Even greedy goblin merchants and the otherwise selfish residents were assisting the helpless. However those such as gnomes cared only for themselves, and hustled to protection careless of anything in their path.
The mayor of the town, a satyr, kneeling near the haven with his familiar - a type of oversized bear - and casting a magic similar to the barricades of solid air. From spawned trees at the corners of the dome, branches swim through the air providing additional support to the structure of their shield.
However, the onslaught was too powerful for the most powerful in the village. Lightning shattered the barricades cast to the sky and buildings crumbled due to earthquakes. A cyclone began to emerge from the lake of healing, the waves clashing against each other until reaching monstrous heights - spiralling upward slowly but surely. Pure panic infected the population and inhabitants surrounding. In addition to all of this, two glowing and growing spheres drew near - one red and one orange.
A massive crater was forced into the ground outside of the village - which was shortly followed by a heavy shock-wave pulling many to the skies. The panic of the people continued to carry them toward a hope within the emergency vault. Some were fleeing, scattering around to get away from it all, and some stood frozen. A towering figure emerges from the crater, appearing as a gladiator - equipped with armour and cloth, blood and scars. A much more confident figure hovered above. Mars, the war god of Rome was face-to-face with Ra, the Sun god of Egypt.
A few seconds had passed of the titans looking upon each other, and Mars leaped valiantly toward Ra when the overhead celestial sent pellets of the Sun’s energy. The village was utterly in pieces during this titanic battle, many perished in the crossfire. While the tragedy engulfed the land, Keita had fortunately reached the friend he was waiting for, and her family did what they could to protect them. Peering into the safe haven, Jun had seen people clawing their way inside and villagers attempting to shut them out - an occasional soul attempting to welcome those outside the vault. Jun was rushing, frantically scaling the morphing land around him, avoiding the battle shattering his world - and in the corner of his eye, across the Lake of Healing, he saw a speeding pink light with a flickering orange blur travelling the opposite direction.
A rough shaking of the earth drew Jun’s attention to the present, and with a rush of adrenaline Jun makes his way over the many hurdles that lay before him, somewhat ignoring the ongoing fight. As he headed toward the safe haven, he was pulled into the air and, as Mars’ gargantuan arm swung into him, smacked far from his desired destination.
Quickly, Mars pulled and crushed a pellet from his satchel, creating a large cloud of smoke to conceal himself. While the two were unseen, Mars accepts the offer to escape. He pulls a mystical orb from his pouch and tosses it to the side. His soul is transferred to Jun in a similar fashion to the marble thrown. Ra rushes to Mars’ distraction and holds the orb between his index and thumb before crushing it.
Falling, Jun was growing cold, his vision becoming dim and his breathing becoming more difficult to manage. Thoughts flooded his mind. Was this it for him? What about his brother? Would he die now, not finding answers to any of what’s occured? He thought back to what he’d done in his life. His goals, aspirations and dreams. His brother. His people. And as emptiness filled his mind, a faint glow appeared.
