X was rudely jerked out of her slumber by her alarm. Roughly swiping at her phone to shut it, she buried her head in her pillow, groaning into it. Chewtoy scampered up beside her and murmured sympathetically into her ear, only to be met with a disgruntled “Go away.” Chattering indignantly at her crude dismissal, he hopped off her bed.
X jolted upright at the jarring sound of her doorbell and swung her legs down from her bed, letting her blanket fall to the floor. Muttering under her breath, she made a face at her sleepy self in the mirror on the way to the door. “Addy?! What are you doing here?” she exclaimed. “And at this time? I just got up,” she grumbled.
“You don’t want to see your only baby brother? The same baby brother who looks up to you every day of his life?!” he gasped and clutched his hand over his heart in mock anguish.
“Oh stop with the histrionics,” X rolled her eyes, a smile playing on her lips. “Come in you overgrown pup,” she chuckled.

The Enchantress woke with a smile on her lips. The warm fuzzy feeling she had fallen asleep with returned in full force, causing her to delightedly snuggle up against her pillow. Her heart thumped as last night’s memories came flooding back. She felt a warm blush creep up her cheeks and giggled into her pillow. No one had ever turned her into a giggling mess. A voice at the back of her head told her she was being irrational but she promptly ignored it to relive last night.
After locking eyes with X, The Enchantress had hauled Elisa out of her seat and all but dragged her to the bathroom. “Who is that? Where are we going?” Elisa had sputtered out, shooting X an intrusive look.
“Just an ex,” The Enchantress had replied softly, nudging the door of the cubicle behind them shut with her shoulder.
“Is that so?” Elisa had amusedly cocked her eyebrow, arms on either side of The Enchantress, trapping her against the door.
Nodding, The Enchantress had pressed her lips to Elisa’s. “Now I’ve got more pressing matters at hand,” she teased. She punctuated her sentence with a nibble of Elisa’s lower lip, drawing out a moan.
Weaving one hand through The Enchantress’s hair, Elisa returned the kiss passionately, gently drawing her lips between her teeth. Lightly tugging her hair, she let her other hand glide carelessly over The Enchantress’s body, taking in each delectable curve.
The Enchantress frantically grabbed Elisa’s collar, crashing their lips together. She slipped her hand up her shirt, fingers skimming bare skin. Hesitantly, she reached higher up, tracing the outline of Elisa’s bra. She let her other hand wander up her back, following each bump of her spine till she arrived at the clasp.
Elisa exhaled heavily, her teeth releasing The Enchantress’s luscious lips for the soft skin of her neck. The Enchantress drew in her breath and tilted her head, offering Elisa her neck. She obliged by leaving a trail of kisses down her neck ending with a bite to her clavicle.
Electricity surged through The Enchantress with each kiss, pooling between her legs. She moaned and tugged Elisa closer, so her thigh was pressed up between her. “That always turned you into a puddle of arousal,” Elisa smirked, tenderly biting down on her earlobe.
“Stop gloating,” The Enchantress breathed without conviction, shamelessly grinding against her thigh. Her hands clawed their way up Elisa’s back before pawing at her breasts.
“Horny, are we?” Elisa smirked, “I love toying with you”. She took her time shoving up The Enchantress’s dress while she pouted. Winking in response, Elisa unhurriedly felt her way up her thighs.
The Enchantress hissed in frustration. To which Elisa conceded with the lightest of feather touches against her panties. The Enchantress arched her back in response, trying to deepen the contact. Elisa obliged, rubbing her through the thin fabric of her panties, expertly changing up the pressure of each stroke. The sensation of her panties rubbing against her clit sent her over the edge. The Enchantress gave in to her orgasm, shuddering as she leaned against Elisa.

“Can I ask why you’re here without you pulling your ‘needy baby brother’ routine again?” X raised an eyebrow at Addy.
Addy plopped down on her couch and pouted up adorably at X. “I really do just want to spend my weekend with my big sister. Is that too much too ask?” he said, eyes huge.
“Ugh alright, stop with the puppy eyes,” X said, still eyeing him suspiciously. “Scoot over,” she said sitting down beside him.
“Chewtoy! We have a visitor!” X hollered while Addy furtively dug around in his backpack. Dramatically looking around, he extricated two bottles.
“Addy what… We’re not drinking at nine in the morning!” X said disbelievingly while Chewtoy scurried up to investigate.
“We’re not drinking now! I told you I want to spend the whole day with you.” “And Chewtoy,” he added scratching him under his chin. Chewtoy chattered gleefully, mollified after X’s rude treatment earlier.
X sighed resignedly. “So I’m stuck playing babysitter, huh?” she said playfully.
Addy huffed. “Tell me about your date last night!”
“Don’t ask,” X groaned, reliving the previous night. “She was underage, Addy! Barely eighteen. She kept needling me to get her booze. And I couldn’t just walk out on her either, she looked the type to throw a hissy fit.” And then The Enchantress happened.

The Enchantress’s phone buzzed beside her, sending her heart into a paroxysm of flutters. She chided herself, it might not be Elisa and even if it is, you shouldn’t react this way. The butterflies returned in the pit of her stomach when she saw Elisa’s name flashing across the screen. Grinning stupidly, she picked up. It was a video call.
“Morning gorgeous, did I wake you up?” Elisa asked seductively, hair tousled from just having woken up.
Taking in her sexy bedhead, The Enchantress smiled contentedly. “Nah I just got up. Couldn’t keep away, I see,” her eyes sparkled mischievously.
“If I recall, you seemed pretty reluctant to leave last night,” Elisa flirted back.
The Enchantress flushed, remembering how she had clung onto Elisa while her cab was waiting, the driver glaring at them impatiently. “In my defence, I was drunk.”
“Drunk on me? I can be quite intoxicating,” Elisa smirked.
The Enchantress blushed furiously, her heart hammering away against her ribs. “Why you…”
Her retort was cut short by another call coming through. “I think someone’s trying to get through to me,” she said apologetically. “It’s my ex,” she added, scowling at her screen.
“The same one we saw last night?”
The Enchantress felt the familiar flutters descend to her stomach as she saw the flicker of jealousy flit across Elisa’s otherwise pleasant features.
She bit back a comment and instead said, “Nah, it’s this guy I used to date.” “I’ll call you back later?” she added hopefully.

X’s phone rang on her bedside table. “Be a sweetheart and fetch it for me, will you?” she asked Addy, lazily stretching out on the couch, booting Addy out in the process.
Muttering something under his breath about exploitive sisters, Addy set off to fetch it, with Chewtoy curled around one leg. Not bothering to shake him off, he trudged to the bedroom, capuchin monkey in tow.
X snatched her phone from his hands, seeing that it was the police. Shushing Addy, she answered in her ‘professional’ voice.
Evan, the young officer she worked with, filled her in. “There has been a string of grocery store robberies last night. And we have reason to believe it isn’t one of the strapped for cash thieves either. The job was executed too well.”
“Who do you think it is?” X furrowed her brow, perplexed.
“Probably one of the ‘villains’ who run our town. Someone low one funds. Otherwise they would never stoop so low.”
“I’m on it,” X said to Addy’s dismay. Sighing, he glanced at the liquor bottles he knew they wouldn’t be touching today.

The Enchantress took in a deep breath to calm herself before answering. She had checked in on him after their fiasco the other night and he had emerged unscathed, if a little distraught. “This had better be good,” she growled into her phone. He had better not have ruined her chances with Elisa.
“Seriously?!” exclaimed The Enchantress. “This is what you’ve reduced yourself to? Robbing shops like a petty criminal?”
“You know I’m not very good at what you do,” he replied softly. “I’m even worse off now that you’re not around to catch me.”
She shut her eyes tightly in exasperation, “But why? Don’t you have enough money?”
“I needed funds for my next venture.”
“Gabe…” she began. “They’ll be after you now. There’s a reason we don’t rob stores.”
“I know. They already are.”
“What do you want me to do?” she asked concerned. Though she didn’t realise it, she still cared for him.
“Could you, you know,” Gabe hesitated. “Throw your weight about? I don’t know. I’m sorry.”
“I don’t ask anyone for favours! I take care of myself,” she snapped. Yet, she found herself thinking of ways she could get her ex out of this mess. The same infuriating voice in her head asked why she was so concerned. Squelching it as usual, she chewed on her bottom lip pensively, before reaching for her phone again.
