"Thanks." Chan whispered. "How do you breath underwater?" Chan asked out of the blue.
"Gills." Hyunjin replied. "Where are your gills?" Chan asked. Hyunjin turned his head to the side and showed Chan the small gills behind the shell of his ear. They had a mint green color on the tips of them.
"They're cute." Chan said. Chan brought his hand up to the gill without warning. He brushed his finger against the gill making Hyunjin's breath hitch.
Hyunjin smacked his Chan's hand away. "No! Not my gills!" Hyunjin said, his face crimson red. Chan raised his hands in the air in surrender. "Sorry, sorry..." Chan said. Hyunjin shivered and shook his head, little water droplets flying from his black hair.
"It's okay, my gills are more sensitive than they should be." Hyunjin said, shrugging. Chan nodded. "What do you work as?" "I work at a design company." "What do you design?" "Hand bags, rings, shoes, lots of jewelry in general." "You make jewelry?"
"I don't make it, but I create the designs." Chan said, showing Hyunjin the silver ring with diamonds encrusted in it. "This was my first design." Chan said.
Hyunjin grabbed Chan's hand in his smooth moist one and examined the ring. "It's gorgeous! Do you have anymore? I could pay you in pearls or something." Hyunjin said enthusiastically.
Chan smiled showing his dimples. He slipped the ring off his finger and put it on Hyunjin's middle finger. "It's one of a kind, just like you." Chan said smiling. Hyunjin's cheeks were burning but he smiled at Chan. "Thank you." Hyunjin said.
