A couple days after Alpha Henry found me, I was adopted into his family. His mate, the Luna, William and there two children, Axel and Ellie, imminently accepted me. So since that day I am a member of the Riverside pack in California. 

Present Day...

I was now sitting on the edge of the indoor pool in the pack house watching Axel and Ellie splash water at each other. We were currently the only ones in here, as it was only 8 in the morning. "Axel! STOP!" Ellie screamed as Axel kept splashing her. 

"NO!" He screamed back.

"COLTON GET YOU LITTLE ASS IN HERE AND HELP ME!" Ellie screamed as loud as she could. She splashed Axel back.

"WHY SHOULD HE HELP YOU! YOU KNOW HE LIKE ME MORE!" 

"Axel, Colton and Ellie. My office. Now." We heard dad, Henry, call us through the mind link. Axel and Ellie immediately stopped. We gave each other each a nervous glance before we all got out. I waited for Axel and Ellie to dry off and throw there clothes on before we all went to the office. Axel knocked on the door and once we heard 'Come in' we walked in side the room. Dad was sitting next to Papa, William, behind the desk. We sat down in the seats in front. "OK none of you are in trouble. Thankfully. Tonight we are heading to New York for the Alpha meeting."

"Wait I'm going?" I asked to them. They both smiled as they saw my excitement.

"Why wouldn't you be joining us. Your part of this family to." I smiled at my dads words. "Now the Red Night pack, as you all may know is a pretty nice and chill one, and there Alpha is Peter Coli. Something else you may want to know is that the Blood Moon pack is going."

"What? But they haven't gone to one of these meetings for century's." Axel said.

"Yes well, apparently they have some urgent news." Dad said shrugging his shoulders.

Later that night we were all on our private plane heading to New York. "C'mon Dad that's called cheating!" I said to my father as we were playing a card game. 

"No it's not Colton. You just don't know how to play." Dad joked back at me.

"Ya Colton it's only a game! Stop being such a sore looser." Axel joked. "You know I think we found the one thing Colton isn't good at."

"Which is?" I asked nervously. What was Axel thinking? I'm bad at a lot of things. 

'Not really Colton.' Milo said reminding me that he was in my head. 

"Colton serously! Playing games, board games to be specific. Ever since we were little you were just terrible at them expet for clue which you are scary good at."

 I threw the rest of my cards on the table before standing up. 

"What ever Axel, I am always better than you. Third and fourth are always better than last." Everyone laughed. "I am getting some shut eye before we get to New York. Good night peoples." I laid declined one of the back seats and shut my eyes. Weirdly enough nightmares didn't haunt my dreams.

After our 45 minute drive to the pack house, we finally made it. The pack house was similar to ours. But this one seemed vaguely familiar. This pack lived in a neighborhood. At the top was the pack house and down the street in front of it were houses, for pack members who didn't want to live in the house and for other visiting packs. We drove down the long road before stepping out of the car. At the front stood a man 6'7 tall, with black hair and green eyes. He smiled as we all stepped out. 

"Welcome Riverside pack." Peter said. 

"Hello Peter." Papa said. "Nice to see you again." They shook hands.

"Nice to see you to." He looked over to me and my siblings. Mainly me. "You must be Colton." I nodded, he stuck his hand out. I shook his hand. "My name is Peter Coli head of this pack. If you guys can follow me we can meet up with the rest of the Alpha family's." We followed Peter through a very familiar house before going to the backyard. There sitting in chars on the grass were the rest of the Alpha family's. But something else caught my attention. The most wonderful smell. I looked throughout the crowd and spotted the mystery man. There in the front of everyone stood a man almost 7 feet tall. The man had dark brown hair, almost black. He had crystal blue eyes and damn! The body the man had looked like it was made by god himself. All while I was admiring him, Milo was yelling mate. A voice brought me back from my staring. "This is the Riverside pack from California. Here we have Alpha Henry, Luna William, and there children Axel, Ellie and Colton. You guys can take your seats." We walked down the steps and took our seats in the front. I felt everyone's eyes specifically on me. But it could be nothing. It was probably the nerves. The meeting was pretty boring. Nothing really happened except when my mystery mate walked up to the stage. 

"My name is Xavier. I am from the Blood Moon pack from the United Kingdom and I have some news." Oh fuck. The UNITED KINGDOM! How in the hell are we supposed to see each other. And he's part of the Blood Moon pack. THE MOST FEARFUL PACK THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN. Oh god, oh god. Oh god. Oh god. I have this weird feeling I won't being going back to California for a long time. When Xavier starts to speak my thought go away. "Back in the United Kingdom there has been an increase in vampires attacking humans. Almost three hundred cases. My beta and I believe that they may be coming here." A couple people raised there hands. The woman Xavier called on asked him why he knew this. "They told us that's why. On their last kill they specially said that they are coming to the United States to kill the one who started this and before you ask. I don't know who they are talking about. All we know is that humans and werewolves alike are in a lot of danger. Thank you." And with that he walked off the stage leaving the rest of us deeply in thought. A couple minutes after Xavier walked off Peter walked back on. 

"Well Thank you Xavier for the insight. You all may go inside the pack house for some dinner." Perter said. Everyone got up and followed him into the dinding room. There were multiple tables scattered around the room. Each table having six people be able to eat. After we got our food me, Axel, and Ellie went to the table in the far right corner. 

"So Colton, what did you think if the meeting?" Axel asked after a few moments of scilence. 

I shrugged my shoulder. "I dont know, it was kinda boring." Ellie began to laugh so hard. Me and Axel just looked at her. "What's so funny?"

"Colton kinda boring? The meetings are always boring. Well except.."

"Exept for what?" I heard Axel ask.

"I may have found my mate." Me and Axel gasped.

"What! Ellie that's amazing! Who is it?" I asked. She looked down at her hands. "Hey what's wrong Ellie?" When she looked up tears were running down h her cheeks. 

"I dont know if he'll accept me." Ellie said in a small shakey voice.

"Hey. Your mate will accept you. You want to know how I know?" I asked Ellie who just shook her head. "Because your an amazing person. Your funny, your a good fighter and your wicked talented. I mean you can basically do anything you want if you just set your mind to it. Your mate will accept you for who your are. And have you even seen yourself in the mirror? Your freaking gorgeous!" I said and Axel nodded agreeing with my words while Ellie smiled at me. She mouthed thank you before getting up and most likely going to her mate. "Any sign of your mate?" 

Axel opened his mouth to speak but his jaw just hung open. He stared at something behind me. I looked back and saw Xavier standing there. Oh god.
