White Diamond looked at the 3 Crystal Gems under her control, her head tilted to one side like a child looking at his toys. After a few moments of looking at the three, she said softly, 'Eeney Meeny Miney Moe, who shall I shatter first from head to toe?' Her finger ended up pointing at Garnet, who, under her control, mimicked her actions and pointed back at White. Connie looked in horror as White grabbed Garnet and, with her in her grasp, released her from her control. Garnet snapped back into herself, and blurted out, ' What happened? Why didn't I see this coming? Why am I in White's grasp? Where's Steven and the others?' 'No need to worry about your 'friends', Starlight. Just stretch out your hands for me, will you?' Garnet, not knowing what was in store for her, stretched out her hands. Connie couldn't see what was happening up there, so she stuck Steven's gem shards into her pocket and tried to get up, but she was too tired to. White took Garnet's hands and then raised her free hand's pointer finger up high. Garnet's shades flashed and then she gasped. She knew what was going to happen, but she was helpless. White's sharp fingernail came crashing down, and Ruby's gem shattered. Garnet's form glitched, and then unfused. Sapphire was in shock of what White has just done. Her eyes glitzened with tears of anger and sorrow. White's hand grasped Sapphire tighter, and her finger pryed open Sapphire's closed hand, which she could not clench tight. White's finger came down again, and both Gem's shards lay on her open palm. She dropped their shards onto the floor, and then walked over to Pearl. She grabbed her and released her too. Pearl looked around in confusion, and when she saw Steven dead on the floor below her, she panicked, causing White to hastily raise her finger and smash the Gem into pieces, Pearl only realising her fate at the last second. After she took care of Pearl's shards, White strutted over to Amethyst. This time, she only said coldly, 'Runt.' Afterwards, she simply thrusted her finger straight into Amethyst's gem, causing it to shatter instantly. She threw her shards straight onto the floor, and then strode back to her throne, her back to the exit. Connie saw her chance, and ran over to each of the CG's shards. She picked them up tenderly, stashing them into her pocket together with Steven's shards after.
