Steven, Garnet, Sapphire, and the Rubies left the drill. They made sure nobody in the group was hurt. They headed back to the house. As Steven walked in, Amethyst jumped on his back. "Yo. Diamond Dude. Your Pearl wants me to take you out into the city to learn a bit more." She said. Steven nodded. "Alright, just get off me!" Amethyst got off his back. "C'mon lets go." She walked out so Steven followed. The two walked into the Big Doughnut. Steven and Amethyst got doughnuts then sat down to eat them. A girl around Steven's age walked in. She got a cup of orange juice. She saw Amethyst and Steven so she walked over. "Hello! Is this seat taken?" She pointed to the empty seat. Amethyst shook her head no so, Connie took a seat. "I'm Connie! What are your guy's names?" She asked. Amethyst said her name first. "Amethyst." She glanced at Steven who was glaring at Connie. He hasn't seen a human since he was a toddler. He clearly forgot how to treat them normally. "Uhm," He took another bite of the doughnut. "You can talk dude. Say your name." Amethyst said. Steven rolled his eyes. "I'm Steven. You are Connie?" Connie nodded. "Nice to meet you, Steven! Would you like to talk later? I have to leave." She said. "Later? Oh sure-" He said getting up after his doughnut was gone. "Lets go, Amethyst. I want to check on Star and Pink Pearl." He would walk out of the store.

Steven walked inside the house followed by Amethyst. He sat down and sighed. "My head hurts pretty bad.." Star walked over. "Would you like to play a game when it's better?" She asked. Steven smiled. "Sure. Thank you, Star!" There was a knock at the door. Steven got up. "I guess I will get it." He walked over and opened the door. Greg looked at Steven. "Oh- Hello. I'm Greg." Steven nodded. "Steven. Hey one of ya gems better get over here!" He shouted. Pink P walked over. "Oh, a human. Go get Amethyst or Pearl or something." Amethyst walked over. "Oh, Sup Greg! What are you doing here?" She asked signalling Greg and the others to follow. She at on the couch. Pink P was mumbling things to Steven as he was stressed out from meeting another human. ''I'ts alright, my diamond." She mumbled softly. Greg looked at them. "Is he alright?" Amethyst nodded. "He should be. He isn't used to being around so many people. Sapphire was surrounded by the Rubies. Steven looked over. "Take a break, Rubies. Sapphire still has others to protect her. You need a break sometimes." The Rubies nodded walking away to talk. Sapphire looked a bit surprised and looks at Steven. "Are you sure Steven?" Steven nodded. "Yes I'm sure." He didn't like being questioned at the moment then stood up. "The diamonds are calling. I will be back." He walked into an empty room and shut the door. He turned on the communicator. Yellow Diamond was calling. "Steven. What is taking so long? You have things to do. Be finished in a month. If you come back later than a month, you won't get a colony." Steven nodded. "Understood." He hung up ad walked out. He let out a sigh. "Oh my stars. Why is Yellow always so strict." He sat back down. "Steeeveeen. Whats da matter?" Star said looking over then stood still. Steven stood up. "Stop asking questions." Greg and Amethyst looked surprised. Steven's cheeks started to glow the unnatural pink. Star was frozen in slight fear. Pink P stood up. "My diamo-"  Steven glared at her so she went quiet.
