Iohanna woke to the smell of blood in the air. The moon had fully ascended into the night sky and Iohanna could barely make out her surroundings. She looked around for any dark masses that would resemble a dragon but ended up tripping over something at her feet instead. Crawling over it the rest of the way she rubbed her hands on her clothes from them feeling moist. Quickly scrambling to her feet she had to feel her way around from everything being dark, but the faint light showed that the dragon was no longer blocking the exit. She tied her hair back and continued on her way to get out of the cave.
The moon light shown on dozens of corpses staggering around her. Limbs ripped from their bodies, bodies without their heads, and people torn in two. They were dressed in Candroll armor, but she didn't recognize the ones she could see the faces on. Off in the distance men were shouting and a loud howl echoed against the trees. She quickly ran to the noise to figure out what was going on. When she saw the cluster of men she hid behind a tree and watched as Pierce had been walking in a circle while men surrounded him holding onto ropes.
"Run!" a small whisper filled her head, and she instantly knew what it was these men had tied down. Anger and fear swelled up inside her as she cradled her head in her hands. Another command popped into her head telling her to leave.
"I will not Go!" Iohanna shouted drawing their attention to her. Her hands gripped tighter into her hair when she hunched over letting out a death scream.
Pierce was the only man that was standing erect while her screams surrounded them. His men had dropped down to their knees covering their ears as blood pooled out of their orifices. They were slowly dying as their brains turned to liquid.
"Iohanna calm down we are just trying to save you." Pierce was slowly moving towards her. Her screams to him just sounded like a child throwing a fit when he wore the necklace.
Marc' was struggling as his wolf ears couldn't take the noise. He was slowly collapsing to the ground and his body was forcing him to change back into a man. He saw Pierce move closer to her as his eyes slowly started to shut and emptiness filled his head.
Pierce bent down and picked up a thick but short branch that could best be used as a club while he slowly approached her. Iohanna's eyes were tightly closed, she drew a deep breath in but before anything could come out everything went black. Pierce had knocked her in the back of the head with the club like branch. Looking around Pierce noticed she had killed all her men and the beast, which was now a man, that had tried so hard to protect her. Smiling he tied up her arms and feet in case she woke up before he needed her to and tossed her over his shoulders to haul her back to where they had camped out nearby.
Iohanna woke bound and gagged inside of a small tent. She could hear the laughter outside and Pierce's raucous voice as he spoke orders. She pulled and squirmed trying to get out of the chains that held her down. She called out over and over again internally for the dragon but there was no answer. She cried, she kicked, and part of her skin was scraping off from the metal.
Pierce could hear her movements inside his tent. "No one is to disturb me, under no circumstances." Pierce grinned at his men and they held up their ale to congratulate him before he disappeared off into his tent.
"Oh Ioh," Pierce set down his mug and picked up a two-inch blade. "I had warned you." Iohanna shouted at him through her gag making incoherent noises. "Remember, I have this." He flashed the symbol on the necklace at her. "Behave and I will untie your mouth."
Iohanna nodded towards him. When her mouth was free, she spit on his face, and received the back of his hand hard across her mouth as her reward. Blood trickled down her mouth as he shook his head at her.
"I did say to be a good girl." Pierce took his sleeve and dabbed it across her lips. His eyes were dilating as he was focusing on her now swollen lips.
"What did you do to my dragon." She watched as he drew his tongue across his bottom lip making her feel sick to her stomach.
"Your dragon? Sweetheart it was long gone before we got there. It left you in the middle of the night." Pierce placed the small blade at the top of her shirt and lightly dragged it down her chest to her abdomen.
"You lie." Iohanna felt the hair on the back of her neck stand as his eyes wondered down her body.
"Now have I ever lied to you. I may have kept things, but I have never lied to you." He looked into her eyes to make a point. "When we got there, you were cuddled up next to that skin-walker."
"Skin-walker?" Iohanna didn't know anyone who could morph bodies.
"You naive little princess." His hand moved up under her shirt to where the opening by her neck was, he placed the blade against the fabric. "You thought that was just a normal wolf?"
Her eyes shifted around the room trying to put things together. "Where is the lone wolf?" She didn't feel comfortable calling it a skin-walker.
"You killed him." His knife slowly cut the fabric open inch by inch revealing her body to the cold air.
"I, I killed him?" She blinked quickly drawing back the tears that were ready to surface. "I don't believe you."
"Believe whatever you want to believe." His breathing hitched when her small breasts came into view.
"Where is Marc?" Iohanna needed someone alive anyone to feel like she wasn't alone.
Pierce stopped what he was doing and let out a roar of laughter. "You really don't get it do you." he set the blade down and ripped the rest of her shirt open leaving her top half completely bare. "That was its human form."
Iohanna could no longer hold the tears back as all the pieces started to fit together. She didn't want to believe him, but she knew he was telling her the truth. Her last hope was the dragon that had abandoned her. Reality snapped her back when warmth enclosed one of her nipples. She lifted a knee up and slammed it against the back of his head. Niccolo had trained her to be flexible and she finally had a use for it after all her hard work.
A very pissed off Pierce moved away from Iohanna and stormed out of the tent. He went into the slavers cart and grabbed two more chains before heading back into the tent. He had her on a single metal cot that had four legs. Both of her hands had been secured to the top two, and now her feet would be secured to the bottom two. Iohanna felt the chains clasp around her ankles and her mobility had been reduced to shaking her head.
"Let's see you do that again." Pierce hovered over her as he stared at his work making sure everything was tight.
"Please, you don't have to do this." Iohanna pleaded at him trying to reach the man she once knew.
"Yes, actually I do." he stripped off his shirt showing off those muscles that had first attracted her to him. He began to take off his pants when he looked at her. "You see Ioh' you have a secret that only a few people in this world knew, your mother, your father, and I." He finished stripping off the rest of his clothes only leaving on his protection amulet. "It's quite funny actually. You see all I need to do is fuck you and I get half your powers." Pierce laughed making Iohanna go cold. "At first I wanted to marry you because that was how your kind works. You mate with only one for your life so you can retain power for survival, but then I thought of how much I loved women and I couldn't fuck you for the rest of my life. Look at you, you are a dick away from being a boy. So when I saw you earlier I thought I would just catch and release, but then you and that skin-walker turned out to be such a pain in the ass and I realized if I let you go and you fuck someone or something else they could potentially be more powerful than I, and I just can't have that. So, you see Iohanna I have to fuck you then kill you afterwards for my own interests."
"Fuck you!" Iohanna yanked on her chains trying to get out of them.
Pierce gave her a grin and started yanking her bottoms down before he cut them off her body. Iohanna laid there completely naked and he felt his cock twitch in anticipation. It wasn't because of the girl that was in front of him but what he was finally going to be after having her that excited him.
Iohanna shut her eyes tightly as his hands brushed up and down her body. She wondered if this was how Kaniem felt when she had been taken away and that hurt more than what she was feeling now. The weight of his body almost knocked the wind out of her, and panic rose when she could feel him pressing at her entrance.
"Look at me." Pierce wanted to see the magic leave her eyes as it drained into his body, but she just clamped her eyes shut tighter. He moved a hand around her throat squeezing it to force her to open her eyes while his other hand held onto his cock at her entrance. Once her eyes shot open, he slammed himself inside of her making Iohanna cry out in pain.
It had been a week since Marc had been unconscious in the middle of the woods. The rotting stench and hordes of flies swarm around him causing him to gasp for fresh air. He was plagued with nightmares of Iohanna calling out to him as she sat naked inside an empty cell. Her hair was covered in mud and her body of bruises that marked where another man had been. Pain swelled inside of him knowing that he had failed in protecting her. She felt all alone and scared yet he was here letting her down. He tried to shift into his wolf, but nothing would happen. His dragon spirit wasn't something he could call out whenever he wanted, so he was stuck naked and human. The only upside was there were plenty of clothes on the bodies around him.
Marc' pulled the clothes off the rotting corpse and made his way to the nearest body of water. The clothes smelled of decay and his sensitive nose wouldn't allow him to put them on until they were washed. Marc' was a huge man and most men didn't have the build he had since part of him was dragon and another part wolf. He was encased with muscle and just overall tall. The clothes her found in the closest to his size still hugged him like his own skin. He bent down to wash his shoulder length dirty blond hair when he heard a faint call. "Someone, anyone please help." Marc' could hear her, whatever happened to his wolf he knew the dragon still had a link with her. He listened carefully for her to speak out again "Help me." There she was, but there were other noises interfering with his link. He kept listening for her. She let out a scream in agony and that was when Marc' could hear the grunts of a man. That was the noise that was interfering with their link. Marc' rushed out of the water and ran off into the direction she was. His vision became bury with rage and eventually he toppled over a root sticking up out of the ground. Rolling onto his back the darkness was once again creeping in. He let out a faint whisper, "Iohanna" and sunk into the waiting abyss.
