What would happen to Earth? Would the Diamonds shoot another death beam at Earth again, but only this time it will annihilate all life on Earth?' Her heart dropped at the thought. Just then, the New Crystal Gems and Bismuth came sliding through the entrance, in battle positions. Bismuth opened her mouth, ready to howl battle cries, but Connie tugged at her feet, signaling her not to. Lapis and Peridot noticed her too, and lowered their battle stances. Lapis was just going to ask what happened to the others, but Connie simply shook her head, pointed to Steven's body, took out the shards of the others, and then pointed to the exit. She was too traumatized to speak. The three gasped. Bismuth looked like she wanted to shatter White on the spot and Lapis and Peri were in tears. Connie shook her head urgently once more, pointed to White, her back still to them, and then to the exit again. Therefore, Bismuth went and got Steven's body, Connie held onto Peri's trash can cover, and with Lapis holding Bismuth and Steven with Peri's help, they flew out of the giant mech into bustling HomeWorld.
