“Nicole!!!!” Andrew yelled while basically punching her door “I need your help!!”

The door was then flung open by a short and very much pissed girl, his lovely friend didn’t look like she was in any mood for him today.

“What does the love of my life need from me today?” her voice was laced in annoyance he must have interrupted her again. It’s not that he planned to always bother her, she was basically always “busy.”

“Tobi asked if I wanted to go out to lunch, and I don't know if I should say yes or not, Ihavetostudyandwhatifthisisadateor…” he began rambling in the doorway

“Ok first of all you talk to fast, I can't understand you when you mumble, and i'm in my underwear” oh he hadn’t noticed “come in and talk slower for me please, I don’t have all day Viks got a competition I'm missing for you”

“Ok yes alright uhh” he really didn’t know how to start “Tobi asked me out to lunch today, he texted that he was done with his noon class and wanted to hang out”

Nicole nodded along allowing him to continue.

“Do you think it's a date, are we even that close yet, what if I screw something up and he never wants to talk to me again” ughh the panic was starting to sink in.

“Ok woah calm down the dude just asked to get lunch just go and if it's a date its a date, i'm pretty sure the point of those is to get to know each other better” the oven dinged and Nicole got up to check it.

“How long ago did he ask you, shouldn’t you have responded by now” she said while taking out the large pan of dip from the oven, he should really talk to her about her diet.

“Oh I guess you're right I kinda just ran over here first, what do I even say then” great here comes the panic again.

“God you're a mess, just say sure and ask him where you want to meet up, then get the hell out” she pushed him back towards the door.

Nicole was of great help most of the time, but she drew the line at Vik, her favorite YouTuber. Only a rare few could bother her during her “Vik time.” Lucky for him he was on that list and got the assistance he needed, well more like her just yelling at him to stop freaking out over basic shit. It was just lunch, everything was gonna be fine.
