Emerging from his new housing, Jun is introduced to a beautiful and wondrous environment. A small settlement consisting of square cemented housing. The kids heard before were with their mentors and moving their bodies in a way that mimics the leader displaying water magic. Gazing around, taking in all details of his new location, he spots a boy relaxing under a tree - who in turn relays eye contact. Taken aback by Jun's presence, the stranger stumbles to his feet and shouts, "Kale, he's up!" The other two wanderers, Epherum and Kale. Kale had been working some crops on the opposing side of the road, bothered by his lack of skill to cultivate. Leaping the fence and passing his friend leaving the shade of the tree, Kale was approaching with a flurry of questions. “What happened to you? What happened to your village? What are you? Did you fall from the sky? Why are you not hurt?” Aria spoke from inside the house as the boys drew near, "Just let him settle first, we can ask all we like over lunch. I mean, if that's okay with Jun." "Yes, that's fine with me. I don't mind," he responded contently. Epherum joined the three, following with, "Come with me, I'll show you around." Taking him up on his offer, Jun and the prince walked off.
"First off," Epherum started, "I'd like to begin our walk with a question." Jun glanced over to him, gaining no look in return. "I'd just like to know if I'm right," he said looking over to Jun. "Go ahead," he answered. "I've been thinking since we found you. You're a god, aren't you?" Impressed by Epherum's deduction, Jun holds his words for a second. "Or at least godlike, you're a sort of deity. How else could a person survive that with no scratches on their body? How else could a person survive in general?" Jun regains his composure, "That makes sense. I maybe would have wondered the same thing." Epherum cheers for himself having guessed correctly. "So what brings a god like you to a planet like this?" "One question for now, I'll go over it during lunch." Epherum lets out a sound of dissatisfaction, "Hmph, fine..." "I have a question of my own, if you don't mind," Jun voices. "Sure," Epherum utters, "Go ahead." "You're a prince, aren't you?" Epherum responds with a shocked look and frantic gestures. "How did you find out?!" "The old prophet walked in and spilled the beans. Two cans. That you two are royalty and that this village is under the guard of Water." The prince gives a great sigh, "That's Sagittarius for you." The two have a moment of chuckling to themselves as he does. After a moment Jun follows with, "So which kingdom were you in rulership to?" His newly attached friend replies, "One question for now, I'll go over it during lunch."
Some time down the track, the prince breaks silence with, "As you've noticed, the population here excels in water magic, everybody uses it." Jun looks over to trainee magicians as he goes on. "This place is secret because those who hunger for power are always on the hunt for more. We can't let just any old rascal attain said power. Especially with what’s happening now.” “What do you mean?” Jun questions, tilting his head in interest. “Ever since that storm, it seems the gods have turned on us,” Epherum answers. “Hold on. Storm? So you felt it too? Just how huge was that thing?” “Yes, we felt it. There was an intrusion during the storm also. We were powerless.” Jun awkwardly rests his hand on his friend's shoulder to ease him. He was never one for social interaction. “Whatever happened with you, I’m sure you’ll move past it.” “You’re starting to sound like my sister. What did she do to you?” Epherum jokes.
Passing over a bridge, with a tranquil view of a large pond, “You also said the gods had turned on us?” Jun inquires further. “Seems that way,” Epherum starts. “Our intruders were gods no doubt. Before we came across you, we witnessed a very large figure torment a village. After we found you, we spotted a few more in the distance destroying anything. We almost were caught when you woke and just before we got here.” “That’s awful,” Jun wanders about what was to become his reality from here on. “That’s not all though,” Epherum continues. “Since we’ve been here there has been a small lock-down on the village; nothing gets in, nothing gets out. We have an exception,” he explains. “There have been giant giants that don’t seem to have any supernatural abilities but still have the ability to take towns for their own. Random occurrences of destruction every single day.” Jun fearfully glares at Epherum as he explains the state of the planet. “What of this village? What stops them from doing anything here?” Jun questions eagerly. “Water,” Epherum outs. “The element here will protect us. It’s said they’re more powerful than gods.” “Oh,”Jun utters, still perplexed. “Yep,” Epherum sighs, “This is the world now. One big ‘Oh’.”
Looping around the railing of a sloped walkway, the two have arrived at a beach. This small town was only a distance of five blocks, built where white sand meets the most clear water Jun had ever seen. Epherum interrupts the stunning silence; “On a lighter note, the most the community has dealt with here in the past year was limited to burglaries by the youth. We're like one big family.” Jun waddled, irritated by the sand. “That’s much better than what we had to deal with.” “Hm,” Epherum noted, “Well I’m sure this place will be a positive change for you.” “Absolutely.” Continuing with his point, Epherum explains “Being part of that family, though unwillingly, as well as a deity, we're going to count on you to keep us all safe if something dreadful takes place." Taken aback by his comment, "That's a major responsibility, I’m not even sure if I'll hold up," he stammers. "Well you have to at least try,” Epherum gestures, “That's the deal you made when we took you in as one of us." "You're right. It's the least I could do for your hospitality," Jun agrees.
On route back to his new home, "Is there a way I could learn how to control water too?" Jun notions eagerly. "I think you'd have a little too much power at that point," the prince laughs. "One at a time, I'll show you where to start looking if I see you've proven yourself worthy." “That’s fair”
It’s a little past midday when the two adventurers reach their living space, "And thus concludes the tour," Epherum spouts as they enter the house. On the table to the right, centered to the room was a feast for a king. Two kings even. Many dishes littered all over, encased in a strange transparent mist, and plates, cups and silverware settled at the seats. At the head of the table was Sagittarius, opening with, "Welcome back, you two." Aria, reading and relaxing on the couch opposing the fireplace, turns her head and erupts, "You're late!" Her face puffs toward her brother as she waddles on over. "Why did you take so long? Surely it doesn't take much time to walk the block." "Well I didn't go just around the block, I took him around at least six," the prince retaliated. “Six is all we have!” Aria continues, "Lunch got cold and it was a miracle Sagittarius showed up again to keep it intact.” In among their bickering, the prophet begins laughing, and Kale enters through the door on the other side of the room. Wiping his head with his forearm, "Why is all this so complicated?" He turns to put down a toolbox and rest a fishing pole nearby. Taking off his shoes, "Are those two back yet? It's been so long." He faces Sagittarius and his eyes are quickly drawn to Jun, "Finally! These two have been hogging you all day." Hopping over to join him, "Let's go out to-" "Lunch is ready!" Sagittarius interjects. Epherum and Aria head to the table, her escorting Jun to his seat. "We'll have a group discussion soon, Kale. Instead of everyone speaking to him one at a time," the prince stammers, acknowledging Kale's disappointment. Reluctantly taking his seat next to Epherum and opposite Aria, "You're right," he utters.
