I was confused and scared. Different dangers? Like what kind of dangers? Why am I in the middle of all this? What is even happening? I had so many questions but I needed to stay calm. At this act moment there is only one thing and one thing only that i need to know.

"Princess, am I in danger right now or is it safe for me to be here?" I attempted to stay calm but i was honestly terrified. I had no idea what I was to do or what would become of me come her answer.

"Aric, you must take into effect that indeed as long as you stay here within my kingdom, You are indeed safe. I have put into motion a set of protective bodyguards in the occasion you have to exit beyond it's boarders. Kalen is in charge of the team." She said with her hands folded on her lap gesturing to Kalen as she spoke for him. I heard a scoff from his direction as he opposed this idea. She turned to look at him. "Kalen, my trusted friend, you are the only one I feel comfortable leaving him with. You've already shown your bravery in the face of danger and I more then trust that you will she him safely to any destination. Think about it as your castigo for skipping your post today" She smiled. Kalen blushed.

"My liege how many times must I apologize! What was I supposed to do? The merda wanted me to play tea party again! I dont know how much more of her i can take," He pleaded "Besides aren't her enfermeiras supposed to do that? I'm not a baby sitter. I'm a trained warrior."

"Watch your tongue. That merda is my baby sister. And Kalen she asked for you. How she admires you so. It's actually quite cute. She sees you as a hero. You're all she talks about.Come to think of it she said that when she grows up she's going to ask daddy if she can marry you." The princess smiled as if rubbing a defeat into his face. I let out a laugh. All this was quite funny. The princess turned to me. "My sister is a mere 6 years old and has a crush on my dear friend Kalen. She adores the vida out of him. He despises her. It's cute though because as much as he hates playing with her he will sit there for hours on end doing whatever she wants him to." She chuckled

"Um your majesty." I questioned. Her brows furrowed.

"Please my name is Illithe. Please feel free to call me as such Aric. No need for such formality." She smiled and I instantly felt a lot more comfortable.

"Ok, um Illithe? If you dont mind me asking how old are you? And what do those words you guys keep saying mean? Merda, castigo, vida? What are those words?" I asked bashfully as if i should already know the answer. She smiled and giggled.

"Merda means brat, castigo means punishment, and vida means life. Here we speak in a form of Galician. But some of the other lands speak Adûnaic. It's more common then the language we speak. The trolls on the other hand speak Mannish. There are a ton of other languages spoken through out the lands. But in the usual we speak our Galician tongue. But most of the people in his land do indeed speak English, well you're english that is. This is thanks to you're own parents. They indeed taught us, well most of us the young ones were taught by the elders and the other more natural speakers." She smiled and said something to the others and then I suddenly understood everyone else in the room. All the bustling people whom a moment ago he couldn't understand, he now could. "Kalen please inform the kingdom to when in Aric's presence to speak his native language regardless of wether or not they are speaking to him. I'd not wish for him to think our people are talking bad about him." Kalen kneeled and took his leave.

"Illithe, you didnt answer my question..." I was cut off buy her giving me a stern look

"It is rude to ask a lady her age." She answered shortly. My mouth went dry. Then she laughed. "Although its rude I'm just joking with you. I'm 14 in your time age but here I'm rather young. Ive lived for 9 years. In two days ill turn 10 in my time and 15 in yours." She smiled. and looked in the direction that Kalen left in.

"You like him dont you?" I asked lightly. She turned back bewildered.

"What?" She cocked her head to the right. "How can you possibly know my feelings?

"Illithe its not that hard to tell I can see how you look at him. You look at him like he's the only person in the world that matters. It's kinda cute. You make fun at him and it's obvious he feels the same. He blushes the same when you make fun of him and the look of determination when it comes to you is commendable. But let's not dwell on that. You said there were many dangers here. What kind of dangers are there?" I responded tentatively.

"Oh I almost forgot. Yeah seeing as you're here I mine as well tell you what to expect and what to watch out for," She blushed and rubbed the nape of her neck. "First you have to watch out for all kinds of trolls and daemons.. We will inform you upon other dangers when you need to know about them. With the current action we are taking against the current evils is accurate and being taken care of. No need to worry. We will take care of you and see you safe always. Until then rest. You'll need your strength for later. Take a nap and when you wake up, I will show you around my kingdom. Now rest." She smiled and placed a her hand on my cheek. I instantly got tired and dosed off.
