Ms. Sigmund is one of the few actually good teachers in Dwayne Scott's high school (I'll get into complaining about the school's staffing issues eventually). Out of all of the teachers I have, she's one of the most chill.

I'm not entirely sure how it came up, but apparently Ms. Sigmund wanted to have an orange tree. A few sophomores decided that it was their life goal to provide her with an orange tree. And so, the "Orange tree club" came into being. It's a little bizarre, but it's sort of a school-wide inside joke. Whenever some poor soul thinks it's a good idea to visit Dwayne Scott as a prospective student, it's really funny to watch them stare in confusion when orange tree club meetings or bake sales are announced in the morning meetings our school has.

The funniest thing about the club is that Ms. Sigmund doesn't even want an orange tree that much... She's just going along with it because the sophomores are having fun.
