Tears are streaming down Min Young's cheeks, her loud sobs uncontrollable. As much as she does not want to cry, she couldn't help it.

"Min Young-ah..." 

Min Young closes her eyes, more tears rolling down. Her heart clenches, it hurts. It hurts when Jimin does not call her 'love'. Kim Min Young sounds like a foreign name to her.

"I'm sorry, I really am." His voice low, ashamed of himself.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Min Young asks, her voice failing her. "Is it because you're afraid I will die from heart attack?"

"Please don't say that." Jimin quickly retorts, hating it. He couldn't imagine if the day comes when Min Young leaves him...

The next one hour is well spent with Jimin's confession and explanation.

After two years of marriage, she just found out tonight, that Jimin never loves her. Jimin said and she quotes "I care about you, I love you, but not the way you love me."

Turns out Jimin married her out of pity. No one wanted to befriend her, let alone asking her hand for marriage. Committing to her means sacrificing a lot of things : energy, money, time. And Jimin does exactly that.

"Min Young-ah...?" Jimin is unsure. He hates seeing Min Young cries. Most importantly, he's worried. Min Young's heart is not strong, he's afraid she couldn't take it.

He really wants to hug Min Young and apologizes, heck, he would even kneel if necessary. The guilt is eating him alive. He knows he's wrong for giving Min Young false hope, but he really cares for her, so he thought marriage is the best solution.

And he never thought Sun Hye, his crush back in high school, will come back. Honestly, he's doing just fine with Min Young, but when Sun Hye comes ... damn it.

Jimin takes the risk and pull Min Young gently into a hug. He rubs her back and leave a few pecks on her head. He messed up, and he knows he's done for.

"I'm sorry, love. I will not contact her anymore. I promise." This times, his lips linger longer on Min Young's head, inhaling sweet scent of shampoo that she used.

Jimin is sure of his decision. He will forget Sun Hye, and that's final. Because Min Young is his wife after all. Someone he should protect and cherish, someone he should give his absolute best to make her happy; which he apparently failed.

Min Young's sobs subsided upon hearing his promise. Her eyes feel heavy, she could not think straight. She let Jimin carries her to bed and soon, she drifts to sleep.

It's 4 am when Min Young wakes up. She just stares at the ceiling, unable to fall back to sleep. Her conversation with Jimin keeps playing in her mind, haunting her.

She gently turns her body around to face Jimin, a small smile decorating her face as she takes in Jimin's peaceful sleeping face. She brings her hand up, her fingers brushing softly against Jimin's cheeks, not wanting to wake him up.

"I'm sorry, Jimin-ah. I'm sorry for not being a good wife for you." A tear escapes, but Min Young quickly wipes it off.

Jimin might leave her, she knows that. But when the familiar pain that makes her eyes shut, her lips quivering as she pursed them not to make any sound, attacks, Min Young thought, maybe, just maybe, she will leave Jimin first.

Taking in deep breaths and lightly massaging her chest in attempt to reduce the pain, she knows she has to do something. When the pain subsides, she takes two phones that were lying on the night stand; hers and Jimin's.

Unlocking her husband's phone is not a problem, she knows his password. In fact, they know each other's password.

Her finger hovers over the messaging app, debating for a second before deciding to it for real. It does not take long to find Sun Hye's contact.

MY : 30 days. Please let me spend another 30 days with Jimin. That is all I ask for.

SH : I do not plan to take Jimin away from you, Min Young-shi. He is yours, your husband. I will not do that.

MY : Do you love him?

SH : Why do you ask?

MY : Just answer it.

SH : Yes. Yes, I do.

MY : That is all I need.
