As Min Young asked, Jimin starts to spend more time with Sun Hye. They even spend weekend together, leaving Min Young feeling lonely.
Honestly, Min Young is not coping well. She'd cry at night while hugging Jimin's pillow because she misses him too much. On the days that Jimin does not come home, she wears his hoodie, loving the comfort and warmth it gives her.
'Jiminie deserves to be happy, you can't be selfish, Min Young.' Is something she always tells herself. As much as she wants Jimin to be happy, she can't help but feel sad when her dear husband starts neglecting her.
Last night, Jimin didn't come home. It has become normal, he does that from time to time. Min Young slept with tears, but wake up feeling happy.
She quickly reaches for her phone as soon as she wakes up, hoping to get a text from someone dear to her. Her lips form a small pout when she realizes there's nothing.
Sighing, she immediately throws negative thoughts away. It's impossible for Jimin to forget, he must have a surprise for her.
She shoots a quick text before heading to bathroom to take a shower. She has her day planned.
Min Young feels energetic today. It is a special day, she wants to make it memorable. She feels strong enough to go out to buy groceries, so that's what she did.
She bought lots of things for dinner, a slice of Jimin's favourite cake, Jimin's favorite drink; she even bought a new shirt for him. Her mind is all about Jimin.
Once she's home, it's already 5 in the evening. She's quick on her feet and start cooking. Jimin has promised her, so he should be home soon.
She did a final touch on the food, decorating it beautifully. Everything is set, all left is for Jimin to come home.
Min Young waits. She waits for 15 minutes. And then wait for another 15 minutes. Jimin is not home yet. "The food is already cold..." Min Young sighs.
She hates bothering Jimin too much, but grabs her phone anyway and text him. Jimin does not reply though. He arrives one hour later, and Min Young is already mad.
"Where were you? Are you alright?" She asks in the softest way possible, not wanting to annoy Jimin.
"I was at work." He simply replies, brushing his fingers through his wet hair. Min Young bet he just finished practicing and took a shower at the studio.
"You promised you will have dinner with me, but now the food is already cold." Min Young pouts, something she always does when she's upset, and Jimin would usually apologize.
"God, Min Young! I told you I was at work, and I forgot about it. Why are you making a big deal out of it? It's just a dinner!" Jimin's voice is loud, and to be honest, Min Young is scared.
"Just a dinner? You really forget, huh?" Min Young's voice is small; afraid and heartbroken.
Jimin groans in annoyance, he was about to retort but Min Young is faster.
"Today is our anniversary, Jimin-ah..." She starts, tears threatening to fall. Taking in deep breath, she continues. "Sorry, I forgot. Why would you celebrate a marriage you're not happy with, right? Forgive me, Park Jimin. I forgot."
Park Jimin. She really calls him that.
Min Young takes a step back. "You must be tired, right? Go upstairs and get some rest. I'll clean the dining table. The gift is on the bed, by the way. If you want it." She walks out, leaving Jimin speechless and guilty.
He was frozen for a few seconds before everything hits him. He clenches his fist, angry with himself. He quickly go to the dining area only to find Min Young silently crying. Jimin's heart breaks at the sight. His wife is really trying her best not to make any sound by covering her mouth so Jimin will not hear her sobs.
Averting his gaze, Jimin sees his favourite dishes on the table. Everything is arranged and decorated nicely to celebrate their second anniversary, while Jimin ... he forgot.
