Depression Collection

I don't know (POEM)

I don't know (POEM)

Apr 30, 2020

I want to cry,

I don't know why,

This pain,

It's like a wretched stain.

Can anyone see what's wrong?

All I can hear is this wretched song.

I feel like I'm dying,

My existence is crying,

If you think I'm lying,

Well then sorry for trying,

Don't you see that I'm tired?

Life has it's own desire,

And now, I'm falling,

I'm not stalling,

Is that even fate?

To stand in front of the wretched gate,

Of the one who made you hate?

Or is everything too late?

You don't know my pain,

 You can't see the stain,

Although there is no gain,

I wish this monster was slain.

Those I hold dear,

Don't know the extent of this fear.

Outsiders claim to hear,

They haven't shed a tear.

They play a lie,

They're not shy,

They're lost,

Fighting a cost,

Adding to pain,

Increasing the stain,

Thinking one thing can set them free,

When in reality,

Everything is crumbling,

They can't stop their stumbling,

Life is going down the drain,

Administering pain,

Some dumping the bottle,

Wanting life to go full throttle,

Ending up killed,

Cause they weren't skilled.

Getting lost in the elixir

Waiting for a fixer,

Cause they couldn't fight,

Wanted to see the light.

Ended up in the dark from the start,

Trying not to play a part,

They were done, turned to bone,

Buried under stone,

Much to atone,

Loss of a throne,

Realizing they were cast aside,

Like evidence in a homicide,

Wanting to degrade,

When everything is going on like a parade.

Fast pace, like an obscured race,

While the darkness watches with no face,

Running from reality,

On the brink of insanity.

The economy's on fire,

Life losing it's desire.

And yet these screams,

They fill those wretched dreams,

While some are alone,

Cast aside like a broken phone,

Running through life,

Trying not to start a strife,

Trying to survive,

When they were never really alive.

 Life's full of trouble,

You have no double,

But yet safe isn't enough,

Might take a month

But what was it worth?

What was all the pain?

What's the point of the stain?

Don't you see the disaster?

Don't you see the monster?

Come on humanity,

This is reality?

You're blind as a bat,

Don't you see that?

No because you don't understand,

I'm not gonna stand,

Humanity, can be worse than insanity,

But in the end it's your own reality.

So.. My poems are apparently really good, but are also seen as really dark.. Also not at all attacking humanity or people just throwing out life experiences and what I physically see.

A lot of this is what I wrote when I was in high school and till now. Some of its poems, little stories based of quotes I found. Or whatever I felt like writing at the time.
