"We'll let her stay." Daniel finally answered.

But why does he want me to stay? What use can he get off me?

"Why?" I asked.

"You don't seem to have a home. And letting you out in the forest is not what a headguard should do." Daniel answered.

Headguard? So I have a headguard standig in front of me? Interesting...

"What's your name?" The guard next to Daniel asked me.

"Uhm... Rose." I answered. I knew it wasn't my real name, but what is?

"Well Rose, welcome to Fall Drop." The guard said.

"We'll let you rest, Rose. We've also got some stuff to do around the village." Daniel said.

"Allright, please visit me again when you're done." I said.

They both nodded and went outside.

Meanwhile in Tegelaris.

"Please, Alistair-"

"It's High Priest Alistair for you!" One of the two Head Guards of the High Priest said, pointing the tip of his sword at the knight's throat.

"Uhm Please, High Priest Alistair. Tell me who you're looking for so it'll be easy to find him." The scared knight pleaded the High Priest.

"Oh but I've told you enough. And it seems you haven't been payig much attention to what I've said. Cause if you did, you'd know that 'him' is a 'her'." The High Priest answered.

The tip of the Head Guard's sword was already on the skin of the knight's throat.

"Please, High Priest Alistair, I beg for your forgiveness. Give me another chance, I won't fail you again." The knight kept on oleading for his life.

The High Priest thought for a bit, but then smirked at the knight. Which made the knight fear even more for his life.

"Alright, I'll give you another chance. This is your second and last chance. Do you understand that?" The High Priest said.

"I do. And I won't fail you."

"The girl I'm looking for is called Anastasia. She's believed to be the daughter of our Lady, Lady Stella. My younger brother held the staff Anastasia 'lived' in, but he released her. Anastasia should've been released in the forest, pretty close to Fall Drop. A little village who's Lord and his family have been brutally murdered. If you find Anastasia and my younger brother, maybe I'll consider a promotion and more protection for your wife and children."

"I'll find her and your younger brother, I won't let you down, High Priest Alistair."

With that, the knight left the kingdom of Tegelaris and went to Fall Drop. To hunt for his two preys.
