Back in Fall Drop

"Rose, how are you feeling?" Daniel asked me, with the other guard next to him.

They had just come back.

"I think I'm fine." I didn't know if I was really fine or not. I've just been born yesterday, I'm already in my twentys, I don't have a home town & I don't have any family.

"I think that's a good thing. We'd like to show you around town today, if you'd like that." The other guard said.

I actually really want to head out, so I'll accept the offer.

"I'd like that. But I'd like to know your name first."

"The name's Zero." The other guard said.

"As in the number zero?" I asked. Daniel began to laugh a bit. I got to be honest, his laugh was pretty... cute...

Zero's cheeks got a pinkish tint. "I don't know, my parents just named me Zero."

I giggled a bit. Which for some reason made both boys blush a bit.

"Uhm, let's go show you around the village." Daniel said quickly.

In the forest

"Do you even know what she looks like?" A girl with white hair and red eyes asked.

"No. All I know is that she's called Anastasia, she's supposed to be the daughter of Lady Stella. She 'lived' in a staff held by the High Priest's younger brother, but was released. In the forest, very close to the village Fall Drop. Who's Lord and his family were brutally murdered." A boy with dark blue hair and grey eyes answered.

"So we're gonna go to Fall Drop to ask to every woman, who looks in their twentys, what their name is, or if their name is Anastasia?"

"I think we're just gonna ask for their names and not ask if their name is Anastasia. That'll cause a panic and a chance for Anastasia to flee."

"That is true."

"Hey, we're here."

"Uhm, this is quite a fallen village."

"Must be where it got it's name from."

*sigh* "Sometimes I wonder if you know a bit of history of the Kingdom. There are villages in the kingdom who got their name from a season. This village, Fall Drop, got it's name from the beautiful look it had in the fall. But all that beauty seems to have indeed fallen. Must be because of the death of the Lord there."

"Look! That lady over there!"

"Why did I even bother to tell you that. But what is with that lady?"

"Could she be Anastasia?"

"I don't think so. People who are new in the villages will get their first week a lot of protection fron the Head Guard."

"Awww man, I thought we had her."

"You're rather stupid for a knight. Must be why you had to get a second chance."

"Why you-"

"Excuse me." A lady with blond hair and blue eyes said. "I was wondering if you both wanted to visit Fall Drop. You're always welcome."

"Uhm no thanks, not in this fallen-" The boy tried to decline the offer, but didn't have much of a chance.

"We'd love to." The girl accepted with a warm smile.

"Well gow wonderfull! Guests in Fall Drop! My name is Julia, I'm a citizen of this village. Let me show you around." The lady said happily.

"Well thank you Julia. My name is Melissa and my friend here is Milo." The girl said.

"Nice to meet you both. Let's go! First I'll show you around and after that I'll get you to our guest house." Julia said. And they all went into the village.

In Fall Drop

"But you said all villages have a Lord. Why doesn't this one have a Lord?" I asked.

"Our Lord was brutally murdered, just like his wife and son. Nobody know why, the Lord didn't have any enemies." Zero answered.

"We think that Tegelaris has something to do with the murder, especially the High Priest. He's obsessed with Lady Stella and would do anything to obtain her power, or even a power that's close to hers." Daniel added.

"Sorry, but who's Lady Stella?" I asked, a bit ashamed cause of the way Daniel and Zero looked at me when I asked it.

"Lady Stella is a lady who brought the rule that every village or city should have a Lord, to maintain the balance in the village. She was the Queen of this kingdom, 900 years ago. For most of the people, she's like a God. But for some people, she's just a Lady." A girl with white hair and red eyes answered. She had a very warm smile. She seemed... Nice.

"Who are you?!" Daniel and Zero drew their swords, ready to fight for any threat.

"STOP!!" A lady with blond hair and blue eyes shouted. Demanding them to lower their swords.

"Julia?!" Zero was in shock for some reason.

I was just confused, what was going on?

"This is Melissa and the boy over there is Milo" Julia pointed at a boy with dark blue hair and grey eyes. "They are travellers who are visiting the village."

"Really? We haven't had visiters since the death of our Lord." Daniel said.

"We heard of your village and wanted to check it out. After this village we're heading to Sunset Village." Melissa said.

"Oh well, uh, welcome to Fall Drop." Zero said.

I noticed that, I think, Milo was looking at me, or rather, inspecting me. It made me uncomfortable.

"Uhm, can I help you with something?" I asked, hoping he'd stop inspecting me.

Melissa noticed where I was looking and gave Milo a smack up the head.

"Och, I'm sorry, you just looked so familiar. Did you ever meet with the High Priest before?"...
