I sit in study hall, a leg over the other as I bite my thumb; working on the tablet as the video circles in my mind, tame the beast. Tame it. I think as I put fifteen demons in the penn with him. I want to see how bloodthirsty he can be. I think before I hear a slam on the table.

I jump and yelp, looking up as I see Lupus with a lopsided smile, “Sorry, I scare ya’?” he asks.

My eyes narrow before I clear my throat, sitting up, “Just a bit, what are you doing here?”

He shrugs and looks at me, “Wanted to see you?” he says and sits across from me, his red hair looking strawberry like.

I raise an eyebrow and make room for him, “Alright then,” I say and look back at my tablet.

“You know...everyone seems to pass me up or trade me after one time in the penn,” he says as I hum softly, I wonder why. Most Captains would be at a loss on how to tame you. I think slowly.

I feel his gaze before his fingertip on my forehead, making me glance up.

I see a lopsided smile on his lips before his finger slides to my chin slowly, making me shiver and goosebumps. I see amusement in his eyes before he sits back, “So, what’s the plan?” he questions.

I look at him before I look at my tablet, clearing my throat, “I just want to see your full body in action. So I was thinking multiple high and low-grade demons since exams are comin’ up; I need to know all my soldiers’ skills,” I say and nod, feeling his gaze.

“I see, interesting,” he says as I nod, turning the tablet off, looking at him, “So, what weapons do you usually use?” I ask him.

“Usually a blade of any kind, they like to overheat and break so that’s just when I use my hands,”

I raise an eyebrow before I make note of it, “But you know during exams you will be on a field with demons and multiple weapons?”

“Yes but that isn’t fun if it isn’t with your bare hands,” he says as I glance up at him slowly before the bell dings. I pack up everything as he watches me before standing, “You’re different,” he says and tips my chin up, making my lips part as I look at him, “I like you,” he purrs as I blink rapidly.

He turns and starts walking away as I watch him, what...was that? I think before I shake my head and head to the penn for the session.
