Finally, after what seemed to be ages the man pointed to the dog and said that it was his and that he came to bring it home. Zenni didn’t respond instead she just stood there and glared at him. Finn looked at Zenni then the man and then at Zenni again. He looked at the man and said that they were going to treat the dog's wounds than take it to a veterinary office. The man then lunged at Finnthebut Zenni pulled Finn out of the way. She then proceeded to grab someone's book bag and empty it on the floor. Finn grabbed the dog understanding what Zenni was doing and started to put the dog in the bag. The man got up and lunged at them again, but this time Zenni didn’t push Finn out of the way she lunged at him and knocked the man back out the window. Finn just stood there dumbfounded when he saw Zenni turn into a kangaroo and kick the man right into a car. A moment later Zenni had grabbed Finn, and before he knew what was going on they were running down the road being chased by a man. After a couple of miles of running, they lost the man. They both stopped. Finn looked at Zenni and asked what had happened at the school. Zenni just looked at him then went to check on the dog. He asked again. she looked at him, however, this time she sighed. She looked him straight in the eyes and said that when she was younger her real parents used her as a guinea pig in an experiment that was supposed to make humans understand animals and give them animal attributes. However, it did more than that and the man who was helping her dad stopped him and took her away from him. From then on the man took the position of her father and claimed her mother had died in a terrible traffic accident that happened a month after Zenni was born. Finn didn’t know what to say he just stood there with his jaw hanging open staring at her. A few seconds later Finn noticed that they were right around the corner from where he lived. He told Zenni that they could go to his house and rest up there. When they got there Zenni took the dog out of the bag and asked if he had a first aid kit anywhere. Finn thought for a moment then went to check. A few moments later he came back with a first aid kit and handed it to Zenni. She opened it up and proceeded to treat the dog's wounds.
