We walked in the shadows for awhile when I see Croc throwing thing all around the area. Cars, streetlights, anything around him.

"Wheres Super Punch?"

"He's recovering from the fight with the leader. He should be here soon."

I see Croc go up to an alleyway laughing. I hear a loud scream inside the alleyway.

I looked at Mysterion but he was already gone.

I looked around.

I grabbed my crowbar tight.

I quickly ran over to Croc.

The scream went away shortly after.

"Well, well, well... If it isn't the man of the hour... Mysterion himself." Croc growled.

"Leave her alone Killer Croc."

"Or what your going to kill me I don't think so.."

My breath was so short I was so scared for Mysterion.

I hear a scream followed by a loud grunt. I hear Killer Croc laughing.

"Now... Die!!!" he yelled out.

My eyes widen seeing him holding Mysterion up high crushing him tight around his neck.

I quickly grabbed my crowbar as tight as I could running at Croc and swung at his leg tearing through the scales.

He screamed out throwing Mysterion against the wall so hard I saw blood splat on the back of his head and mouth.

My heart throbbed out of my chest. I felt dizzy not believing what I was seeing. I screamed out running to him.

"Mysterion!"

I see the woman run away screaming.

I got on my knees holding him in my arms looking down seeing him all bloody and beaten.

"You fucking bitch!!! My leg!!!"

I looked up at Croc full of rage. I grit my teeth so hard they could break.

"You deserve more you fucking monster!!!"

I look down seeing Mysterion slowly breathing.

"You little SHIT!!"

I hear him grab something.

I look up seeing him grab a fucking car.

"I have been waiting for this moment to crush you like the insect you are.. I want to see you suffer!"

He lifted up the car.

"J-Jess.."

I look down at Mysterion.

"Please.. R-run..."

I felt tears come.

"I'm not leaving you to die.."

"Please..."

"No, I'm not leaving you to die. Like you said we are getting out of this alive. Hero's don't leave each other behind."

He opened his eyes so weak looking up at me.

I smiled feeling more tears come.

It was an honor working with you Mysterion.

I see a tear fall over his mask.

At that moment he slowly closed his eyes and stopped breathing..

I grit my teeth feeling more tears fall off my face holding him in my arms so tight.

I hear laughing.

"He's dead.... Your no hero... Your a pathetic little girl."

I slowly look up at him.

He had a big smile.

"Now... Die!!!"

He threw the car down on me.

I closed my eyes holding Mysterion tight shielding my body over his. I hear a crash but no impact on me. I slowly open my eyes. My mouth gaped open.

"S-super Punch?"

I see him right in front of me holding the car from crushing us.

"G-get out of here.. Take him with you.."

He was gritting his teeth struggling.

I grabbed Mysterion's arms wrapping them around me.

I'll be back for you Super Punch.

I grit my teeth walking away with Mysterion's feet dragging on the ground.

I looked back seeing Super Punch threw the car off to the side then began fist fighting with the Croc.

I quickly put Mysterion against the wall in a corner hiding from the fight.

I'll be back for you Mysterion... I'm not giving up on you.

I gripped my crow bar tight in my hands gritting my teeth in anger seeing him in this condition.

I hear something crash into a building nearby.

My heart sank as I look. My eyes widen seeing Super Punch sitting against the wall all bloody coughing up blood. Croc laughed looking down at him. He grabbed his whole face and neck hard holding him up. He yelled out being crushed.

"You should have stayed in hiding... I've been waiting so long to do this."

He yelled out loud grabbing Croc's hands trying to pry them off his face. I got so angry I ran as fast as I could holding the crowbar with both hands. When I get to him I swing hitting his other leg ripping into it as hard as I possibly could yelling out.

He screamed out letting go of Super Punch.

I heard Super Punch coughing out on the ground breathing in hard.

"I'm going to kill you, you fucking pest!!" Croc screamed.

He turned around with his arm out whipping around smacked me so hard I crashed into the brick wall in full impact.

My eyes shot open as blood came out of my mouth everything happened so fast it was all in slow motion.

I fell to the ground out of breath looking up at him slowly feeling my body shaking.

"I'm going to crush you like a fucking bug!!" He held his hand out to my face.

I felt my vision blurry. I slowly felt my eyes grow heavy.

"Get away from her!" I look up and see Super Punch step in front of me grabbing his arm digging his fingers deep throwing him against the other brick wall. I see Super Punch moving back and forth looking like he would collapse at any moment.

He's using up all his energy. He's going to lose.. He needs help..

Croc got up with a mad grin.

"Used up all your strength huh? Perfect."

He walked up to him grabbing his neck again hard.

"Gah!" Super Punch yelled out unable to do anything.

He got pinned to the wall hard being smashed over and over.

"NO!! STOP IT!!!" I screamed out loud with tears pouring out of my eyes with my hand out toward him.

He stopped and looked at me.

"Oh your not dead yet..don't worry I'll get back to you when he's dead."

I hear him yell out being crushed. I could see blood coming out of his mouth as his eyes shot open.

"STOP!!!!" I screamed out not knowing what to do.

Damn it I'm so fucking useless do something Jess anything!! He's going to fucking die!!

I hear him laughing hard.

I see Super Punch slowly letting go of his hands with his eyes rolling back.

I slowly get up on all four coughing up blood spitting on the ground.

Move...move your legs Jess...please...before it's too late.

I slowly look over and see all the heroes in combat.

No one can help... I have to be strong. Come on come on. GET UP JESS!!!!!

I slowly crawl over and grab the crow bar.

I look over and see he threw Super Punch on the ground.

He coughed out blood gasping for air.

"I'm going you enjoy this."

I see him sit on Super Punch with his claws out on his stomach.

I slowly stood up falling against the brick wall coughing loudly.

He froze and looked back.

He growled standing up facing me.

"Your going to stab me again? I don't think so.

He walked up to me slowly.

I felt tears coming.

I tightened my grip on the crowbar still leaning against the wall.

He ran at me fast then all the sudden blood spewed out of his calves. He screamed out falling on his knee.

My eyes widen as I see him weak.

I walked up to him ignoring the pain I was in using the wall as support to walk.

I grit my teeth pushing away from the wall toward him wobbling a bit.

I grabbed the crowbar with both hands yelling out swinging at his head closing my eyes.

My eyes widen as it stuck in his head.

I ripped it out of his head hearing a crack and pop.

I panted letting go of the crowbar.

I look down at my hands seeing blood all over me.

I slowly look up and see Super Punch slowly getting up looking at me in disbelief.

"You... Killed him...."

I felt tears come.

"I... Had to... He... Was going to kill you. I'm so sorr-"

Before I knew it Super Punch threw himself at me in a tight embrace.

My eyes widen being completely cut off guard.

"Thank you I... I thought I was dead for sure..."

I hug him back tighter.

"We are a team. I'll risk my life for any one of you."

He pulled away from the hug.

"I know you don't have powers but... I think you'd make a great hero."

I gave a little smile.

"I'd do anything to help you guys."

"I'm happy to hear that. You have helped us too many times to count."

I hear yelling and things exploding off in the distance.

"Super punch... They need us."

He nodded.

"Be careful Jess." he said running off.

I can't promise that, I will do whatever it takes to help you all even if it means I have to save you all and stop them from taking over the town I love. Even if I die..I won't give up.
