As we left the small bar I began to smell smoke, at first i thought it was the smoky flavoring from the wings but it got more intense the farther into the city I went. Then I started to here sirens, they were faint but i could hear it meaning it is ether quite or far away. 

It would be the latter as they would come to find out.

I realize i'm just staring in the direction of the sirens and smoke and Shamu is staring at me.

"Do you hear something? Because I smell smoke." He said.

"I hear sirens." I stated.

"So it isn't someone just burning their barbecue."

I chuckle at that, I then turn and start to head in the direction of the sound, and he fallows. as we are walking in that direction i finally see the source of the sirens.

Fire Trucks and Police cars, two fire trucks and 3 police cats pass us heading in the direction of the smoke that I now notice is like a pillar reaching for the heavens. I start to run but find it hard to not run at full speed.

I turn my head to see if Shamu is still fallowing me, I spot him in his cat form next to me, his Rich blue eyes staring at me like looking for flaws so he could devour me. 

I shuddered at the thought, but i kept running, towards the sounds and smells that might just take me.

as i steeled my nerves and turned the corner I saw a site that will haunt me for the rest of my life.
