“What, a haunted forest,” you say on the verge of laughing about how ridicules the idea your friend had. “Oh, you’re so boring. Is a little fun goanna fucking kill you” he says nudging you with his elbow. School had just ended for the year, your friend wanted to go to the forest that was rumored to be haunted and was full of cults. You knew that your friend wanted to go there since you have known him. Many people went there to see if it was haunted, and although many came out others had presumably died. You went into a deep into thought about it until you felt a tug on your shirt. It was your friend stopping you. “Your head was in the clouds,” he exclaims. “Sorry,” you chuckled. You gave the thought of the forest a second thought. “I’ve decided,” you said still a bit unsure about it, “I’ll go will you.” Your friend’s eyes lit up with joy, “Thank you so much,” he screamed. You chuckle at how dorky he is about this. “So, what would we need for this,” you question him, he looks at you confused. “You are so brainless! You need a plan at least, you have been wanting to go there for a while” you shouted, “Sorry I’ll get a plan ready for next week” he assured.

You come home tired, you dashed into your room and plopped yourself onto your bed and unlocked your phone. You kept on thinking about the forest. You took in consideration about what would happen and planned just in case he forgets to. Your mom barge into your room annoyed at something you might have forgotten to do or the sight of you on your phone. “Could you please help me bring in the groceries” your mom asks. You sighed and hoped off your bed to help bring in the groceries. You had an idea, if your mom said no about it you would be able to get out of the forest idea. Yeah, your friend would be disappointed, but he would understand. “Mom, would it be fine if I could go to the forest” you ask. “I am going to say this only once, you can as long you are with someone trusted,” mom firmly said. You now feel like there is no turning back. You do not want to let your friend down and you do not want your mom to be angry for not keeping your plans.
