Sage woke up the next morning, blinking as she adjusted to being in her new room. After she got out of bed and dressed for the day, Sage headed downstairs for breakfast. The previous day, after they picked up some Chinese takeout for dinner, Sage and her mother had gone grocery shopping. As she surveyed the now fully stocked fridge and pantry, Sage thought about the pony she had seen the day before.
“I wonder if it’ll come back today.” Sage whispered to herself as she grabbed her breakfast.
As Sage ate, she flipped through a pony magazine. She looked at the pony breeds, trying and failing to guess the breed of the pony she had seen. Next, she looked at the different tack sets. She knew she wanted to get a leather English huntseat saddle and bridle so she could compete in pony hunters.
